We only occasionally get a customer who actually orders what’s on the menu; most times, however, the idiots don’t read the menu so they wind up making a completely different sandwich on the menu...it’s infuriating; I even predicted it exactly at the meeting before the roll-out:

Eh, The Ultimate BMT is just a BMT with extra cheese. Costs the same, too; it’s supposed to streamline the process to speed-up service times, but it most definitely hasn’t.

That’s not how it works; the meat for the day is sliced on morning shift (once before open, and again after lunch rush.) My coworkers actually prefer using the slicer because it slices automatically, and they can do other work while it slices. And they no longer have to spend time prepping it; they just toss it in a

Sorry, GodDamnTheseElectricSexPants, but due to a dispute with our distributor, UberEats, your order has been canceled. Please place your order with us again through Instacart. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Subway’s been rolling out the new turkey for a while now; it’s pretty good! We’re also going to start slicing ham, pepperoni, and salami fresh now.

They’re nice automated units; have had a change to slice myself yet, but I think they run through a log in about 5 - 10 minutes. You just have to check the holding tray every 30 - 60 seconds to make sure it doesn’t pile up to much.

We’re instructed to persuade customers to use the app to order those sandwiches, but we can still make any of them. They’ll just cost less in the app.

The new sandwiches tend to cost between $10 - 14 / piece. As zappafrank said, definitely hold on to those coupons; you can get any Subway Series sandwich with a coupon excluding the #3, #7, and #12.

There’s probably a limit to how much damage would be allowed by the bank / BHPH lot before they decided to take it away from you; for example, if you owed $20k on a $40k loan and the vehicle received more than $10k in damage, the bank / lot would probably not feel too safe with letting you drive their vehicle.

Was driving down the road the other day with the window down and passed a car making a REALLY loud squeak. I said to myself, “Oh man, that guy’s about to have a REALLY bad day!”

Dude, he made the last record-holder look like garbage!

I vaguely remember seeing those as a child, but I can’t remember ever going to one because my parents thought they didn’t want to pay that much for a hot dog.

We’ve got a couple smaller chains (Cook Out, and we just got a Shortstops) that offer dogs, though the ones from greasy-spoons and dives are at least char-grilled.

Or julienne! I enjoy the added surface-area of a spiral-cut myself, but it’s kinda difficult to find practical applications for it in day-to-day cooking. :/

Yeah, I’m considering buying a 10' x 10' pop-up tent for work when I remembered that free-standing structures had to be a certain distance from the fixed-structure and was curious as to whether or not that would apply to a tent. Had a landlord at a previous job that built us a large structure that was free-standing

When she asked that I question, my immediate response was, “Yes, Aubrey. I always get wood with you.”

That’s...that’s not a quesadilla. Like...so much untoasted tortilla in the middle. I don’t know WHAT the fuck this is!

Eh, I like the videos of retail workers dealing with shitty customers. Helps me realize I’m not alone.

I made 9 bags of popcorn for Christmas at work...my boss showed me this “hack,” and man was she disappointed when only 2 or 3 kernels fell out of each bag.

Frozen and canned veggies actually contain much more nutritional value. Since they’re immediately canned or frozen after harvesting, they deteriorate at a much less rapid pace.
