Emphasis on the “HIGH”
They’re called HIGH CHEEKBONES.
I mean, Carter was born in Tampa. It’s always Florida. Always!
“I’m too intelligent for you guys” said no actually smart person, ever.
Ignore this person. They’re reaching. It’s not like you’re saying “I don’t like all ____ music because I don’t get it.” You can like an artist and not like every single thing they do. You like Beyonce. You like a lot of her songs. You personally think that Formation, is hard to listen to, not because of the lyrics,…
I always struggle to describe music. And I’m not sure what draws me to certain songs. But you’ve nailed my issue with Beyonce´. I do like a lot of what she does but I probably have a very immature ear. I love Single Ladies but can’t get into Formation (though it is very compelling). So I’m just going to follow you…
I like it, but like most Beyonce-inspired tracks, there’s always one part that’s wayyy too busy on the ear. That middle bridge/breakdown section completely overshadows their lovely voices and distracts from the minimalist theme that the song sets.
Sorry, can we take a moment for this face?
I know this was posted on Tweet Beat but still applies.
If you weren’t already in the blacks, this would be the post that did the trick.
I thought she was going to star on
yet that there aren’t huge protests, boycotts
I want someone to graffiti “your bigot’s” on it.
I’m not sure what you’re asking. HB 2 was a fairly partisan bill with republicans in both houses emphatically voting for it. While a number of house dems also voted for it, most did not. Dem senators walked out in protest (mostly because the bill was pushed through without them getting a chance to read what was in it,…
The message is horrible but what's really killing me is that apostrophe.
I never thought I’d be moved by a bank’s actions, but here we are.
I’m a reporter in NC who interviewed a handful of state legislators about their support / non support of HB2. Hearing several different people give the exact same (I mean literally the exact same) quotes about protecting families and cities (i.e. Charlotte) “overstepping their boundaries” really is a glimpse into how…
Yeah, I see what they were going for, but in their defense, it would have taken at LEAST another half an hour to find a person of color in Portland to run that name by.
