Raven is great and sassy! And agree on the hair situ, but Robby is the real hair catastrophe here. It’s like he thinks that if he covers his receding hairline on one side, we won’t notice it. And his veneers, oh god, don’t get me started on those veneers.

I was surprised at how articulate Raven was and not surprised at the fact that Dean may or may not have been sleeping during the whole discussion. God knows what Robby was doing...

I heard on the news this morning that Switzer and Semple went on to actually become friends. Not sure if it is true, but seems like a nice postscript to this story.

Mostly where I saw it was on Broadway and 34th avenue, between 31st and into the 40s.

eeek, yeah i have wondered.

my mistake, thanks.

I wish those police would come to Astoria, Queens! There is a “massage” parlor on just about every block that has blackout curtains and security cameras. I don’t know why/how the NYPD’s 104th precinct lets this happen!

Most notably, they are all just SO constipated. There is often only one or two toilets and they don’t provide a ton of nutritious food. Also, I think I was most surprised by how close the producers get with the contestants, so they have a real sense of friendship with these people and then are, essentially, exploited

Courtney wrote a great book on what goes on behind-the-scenes

Yeah, I think the Bachelor franchise realized they have a serious image problem, i.e. racist, and used this season to try and pivot. And totally agree about Bachelor in Paradise, it’s the best for sure!

I really think this season was some sort of budget issue/throwaway season, like they needed to save some money and set themselves up for seeming less racist.

Thank you! I had no idea, but that makes perfect sense!

Two things: first, still don’t understand why accountants are involved in this and second, is this really that big of a deal? It just seems like an innocent mistake... :/

I know it shouldn’t, but this makes me feel a teensy bit better about how miserable and awful my wedding was. Everybody had a great time at mine, except for me, hated every second of it (except for my dress, my dress was AMAZING), and still regret doing it. Love being married, but weddings bring out the worst in

Totally agree!!

Not trying to defend Katie at all, but having just gone through a year of planning a wedding, it was HORRIBLE and me and my fiance hated each other through it. But now that we’re married, it’s been great! So I don’t know...pretty sure weddings can just bring out the worst in people...

Hahhahaha ok good to know about Wisconsin! I had no idea! Did your husband know Nick??

Oh that makes perfect sense! The Bachelor loves to give HUGE veneers out, poor Robby looked like a deranged beaver, his teeth legit glow in his IG pics.

Any speech pathologists out there that can identify Nick’s speech impediment?

Totally agree, totally boring season, but very obvious that this season the producers are calling the shots and ensuring that a woman of color makes it to near-ish the end. Pretty confident they made a deal with Nick and this is more of a PR “see we aren’t racists” plug for the show, more than anything else.
