The makeup and wig can’t take *that* long... I know from experience on Broadway that Hair & makeup get this down to a science. If Elphaba has a 7:30pm call time to be made completely green, putting the wig on and using airbrush foundation in a lighter colour than her own skin tone can’t take more than an hour or so.
