If NBC thinks they're going to beat those 60 Minutes reruns with this shit, they're sorely mistaken.

You know, I've tried, but I just can't muster a fuck over the self-absorbed Piper and Alex's relationship. And to waste time on a flashback for them in a largely tense episode like this was just flagrant.

Um… Good for you…?

Yeah, I mean, despite their heinous behavior, we're supposed to find the meth-heads funny, huh?

Counterpoint: Piscatella's efforts were totally pointless and ineffective, as he was not trying to save the guards (held by the Latinas), or Caputo (no way he'd do that). He was simply trying to exercise a personal beef, assuming there'd be little chance of him getting caught.

Worse than Linda from Purchasing? Hardly.

I guess the mental rigor of Louis Gohmert is more your style.

I'm actually vaguely familiar with Scalise. When he assumed his leadership position a few years ago, it came out that he had supported an organization with ties to David Duke. He tapdanced for a while, but got approved for his GOP position with no problem.

Jimmy is at his worst here this week, manipulating old ladies for his own personal gain, and let's face it, his entertainment. Mean while, Kim is working herself to death to keep the lights on and purge her guilt over Chuck. The fact that Jimmy is oblivious to the harm that Kim has done herself just makes him seem

I'm still dipping my toe into digital comics, so I went kind of crazy. I mean, 80 - 90% off? As I was looking for stuff with heavy page counts. I got the final two volumes of Garth Ennis' Punisher run. Epic Collections of the All-New X-Men, Gil Kane Spider-Man, and Englehart/Brunner Dr. Strange. Also, Ms. Marvel and

Oh, come on. Last season, Alison's prickly nature initially rubbed everyone the wrong way, including Cindy and the other black women.

Maybe with the cake topper.

I appreciate Laverne Cox trying to expand her career, especially to a role not as dependent on her gender identity. But, frankly, taking a role on a show headlined by noted showkiller Katherine Heigl probably wasn't the best way to go.

I honestly need Pennsatucky's dalliance with Coates to end. I know what they're trying to do here (some kind of Luke & Laura reversal), but the button-pushing is starting to become more like picking a scab.

And, by the way, if each season is a true story, they can't be that hard to pull together, right?

I'm ambivalent about this. I generally enjoy the show, but I feel that this season is more obviously all-over-the place than the previous two. Really, what's the deal with Ray Wise? And is M.E. Winstead gone from the show now? Whereas I would like the show to continue, I'd like some tighter control in any season four.

I admit, I enjoyed the show, and had barely started season 2. But hearing that they ended the show on a cliffhanger that will not be resolved, my urge to complete the second season is limited.

It may be shitty, but it's a damn sight less expensive than Sense 8, or the Get Down.

In that RS interview, Cube also took some time to debunk the actual use of the term, "house (n-word)." He said there was no rea; upside for working in the house, "unless you liked being raped."

Someone speculated that Tim Olyphant might make a good replacement Tony Stark. I admit I find that idea intriguing,
