My mom and dad had a couple of Redd Foxx's "off-color" Party Jokes records, that my brother and I used to sneak and listen to when we were kids.Great stuff.

It's strange. I like so many of the things that he likes (Redd Foxx, my God), but I cannot watch his show, as short as it is. He can have good ideas, but he's so off-putting to me. Very small doses.
These used condom/dead pig stories kind of go beyond goofy George Clooney set-pranking and into the realm of seeking a restraining order.
Will Smith's judgment was still sound enough that he didn't come near that Independence Day sequel.
Someone get Werner Herzog on the phone.
This whole article strikes me as a "dog bites man" situation. Clearly, Robbie knew what she was getting into with most of the roles she has taken. Is it unfair that she's objectified so much? Absolutely. But, for decades, young actresses have broken through by playing up their sexuality, or allowing their sexuality to…
If I didn't think that Bendis was totally bought-off at this point, I would love to hear his true, unvarnished opinion of this show. If he has one.
I bit for the free stream of the pilot, and it was terrible. I did want to check in later and see if it improved, but it seems clear that it didn't.
The castrated guy was part of Quincannon's church assault squad. Jesse shot his dick off.
Don't you know there are no other jobs in show business?
I know that Quinn just wanted to have "a choice." But if anyone thought that Quinn having kids was a good idea, make yourself an appointment with Rachel's mom.
I've never been a fan of the canned patter and plugs typified on late-night TV. But I'll take that over most of the brain-dead celebrity party games Fallon features, that make that stuff seem like the Algonquin Round Table.
I have a friend who was disappointed in the original film, because it was a more serious movie than he expected, and "didn't have more action." I suspect that this sequel will be for him.
Michelle Greene's character was kissed by Amanda Donohue's character (who was bisexual, I think). Greene was into it, but balked majorly at being in a relationship. I think she did the same thing with Blair Underwood's character. Either way, she left the show shortly thereafter.
Given the stink around the bloat of recent Part 1 & Part 2 movies (i.e., the Hunger Games, Divergent, etc.), this is entirely unexpected. Or unwelcome.
The Perfect Michael Franks Couplet:
I can't source the quote, but I remember reading a passage from Lovecraft last year, where he wrote about traveling in NYC, and being disgusted by the hordes of subhuman Africans, Asians, and Jews. He expressed a desire to be rid of such human eyesores. He may not have openly espoused genocide, but he came pretty…
I watch the show with the close-captioning on (Elliot and Darlene and all that mumbling!), and I saw and heard the c-word.
And, hey, how quick can this guy level a city?
I find no comfort in the mild mitigation of Lovecraft's virulent racism. Writers like Burroughs and Howard expressed racist views in their fiction, but I'm not aware of another writer from that era who went to the lengths of Lovecraft espousing his views of racial hate and genocide.
