As someone who paid full price on launch, and bought DLC pass. I say good! More players is awesome. I can’t wait to jump in this weekend and help some new players through the game for the first time :)

no, No, NO! Stop making sense!
Exactly.
Now, if we want to discuss the quality of some of these games at that price point, that’s a different matter. Same goes for DLC, in-game stores, ect...
please don’t make too much sense and give in to gamer rage
People really shouldn't still or have had a problem with this. It's 10 bucks and the price had been 60 for a decade and a half. It was never going to stay flat.
When you consider the hours consumed vs the price tag $70 is not that much money. I expect dragon’s dogma to give at least 40 hours (more than likely much more). That is still less than $2/hr. Compared to a movie ticket that is a damn steal. I feel less bothered by this, than I do all these streaming services…
Bought the game’s ultimate edition at full price on preorder, and felt I’ve gotten every dime of value and then some.
This game has some of my favorite boss fights this side of Fromsoft, and some fights would absolutely feel at home in a Fromsoft game (especially with that Losomn aesthetic which is just *chef’s kiss*).
Remnant 2 is rad and people should absolutely try it even if they didn’t play the first. I say this as someone who just paid $34.99 for it 2 weeks ago and I’m not even mad about. It rules.
You didn’t preface that with, “Umm, actually,” so I’m hitting the buzzer and saying, “Umm, actually, D&D has multiple settings of which Toril is only one.” Now I get the point!!!
When Ryuji asked the question, I fully expected my options to be limited exclusively to the women in the room, as that would reflect the original Persona 5’s extremely limited view of romance.
I haven’t played any of the Persona games, but I feel like “the main character isn’t gay” isn’t the same thing as homophobia. Like, I know it’s a role-playing game and he’s the main player character of the game and so ostensibly the role that you are getting to play, but just because you can make a lot of other…
>I’m a white man who has benefited greatly from my privilege over the years (even if I haven’t always been aware of it) so I know my voice probably shouldn’t be the loudest on this issue, but my god even I’m sick of how many talentless white men have infested this industry I love.
People keep using the word genocide,
i don’t think it means what you think it means.
“Palestinian genocide”...🤦🏻♂️
Not the first time Kotaku has tossed in one sided pro-Palestinian redirect. I mean linking to an Al Jazeera journalist will always have unbiased views within the Palestinian-Israel conflict, right?
When did this site become so one sided? I mean I’d prefer they stayed away from their…
For a game played in first-person perspective, there sure are a lot of photos of the author’s player character in-game in all these articles. It’s annoying to be honest.
Maybe somebody will finally change the PSN+ prices back to normal and create a TRUE essential tier that’s just for game saves and online multiplayer. I have wayy too many games in back log and I’m 40 now; I play sprawling epic MMOs and RPGs and indies. I don’t need a bunch of free games to justify a price hike.
There are far too many games out right now, this and Lies of P are both on Gamepass and I’m interested in both. But I also want to do Armored Core 6, and I’m not done with Starfield, and I need to play FFVII Remake on PS5 plus the expansion or whatever with Yuffie, and I still haven’t done Burning Shores for Forbidden…
I hated the story. I should have just skipped all the cutscenes.
Even the desert was pretty nice because they broke the area up in to lots of different types. Only one area is really a big drab desert, the rest has towns, canyons, caves, oasis, salt flats, hot springs. It was better than I expected for a big desert zone. I think one of the biggest issues is that some of the better…
