You've got a point. But things get kinda murky though with the realization that access to federal student aid and other benefits is tied to the required selective service registration, and that the requirement is tied to the gender reported on an individual's birth certificate, etc.

It's also a bit disingenuous to say you "just wanna to spread love and peace to all the good people, m-a-a-a-an!" and then start spouting out unprovoked insults. But, go ahead I'll let you have the last word.

I disagree with your concept of people being generally good, because reality, but I'm glad there are people like you doing whatever it is you do.

By not posting it. But, hey it's Univision's website, they bought it, they can post whatever they want.

You have some pretty high expectations for people.

Solid point.

You have some pretty high expectations for a website sponsored by Hormel Black Label Bacon.

You're welcome.

Yeah, reviews & critiques, of actual pop-culture or whatever. Fine. Not straight-up political "commentary", like it is now.

Here and there, I listen to NPR usually, read the local papers, browse various sites throughout the day. My phone sends me WaPo alerts for some reason. Where do you get your news?

I'm not saying all anti-trump sentiment is baloney, I'm pointing out this particular website, which used to be nearly 0% political, suddenly became noticeably political after it was bought by a corporation who has publicity stated it intends to be as anti-Trump as possible. Do you need a map?

Eh, I didn't know that. I apologize for tarnishing the reputation of Univision, and all it's fine subsidiaries like Deadspin, and Jezebel.

Meh, I'm fine with the corporate policy being outed as government policy blah, blah, blah stuff. I don't think I'm making any judgments here at all, just you know, calling balls and strikes or whatever.

Univision has openly said they're anti-Trump, and you know, there's all the lawsuits and stuff. You're not that dumb.

If you're ok accepting the fantasy of corporate policy masquerading as a scrappy #resistance, then far be it for me to upset your little dreamland you got going here.

Well, these are the same folks who ran that wildly successful Gawker operation, so I'm certain it will go off without a hitch.

You guys decided to get the Univision mandated Trump bashing posts out of the way early today? Good call.

I think the plan is if it does ok to just say it's really a Steve Trevor/Chris Pine flick.

He shouldn't have put his hands on the guy, sure. But stuff like this happens to non-reporters practically every minute of every day. This isn't evidence of a "war on the press"; people don't start crying about a "war on Claims Adjusters" if one of them gets tossed out of a Dave & Busters.

I don't know, maybe it's just that the police where I live are pretty terrible.
