I guess they could file charges on him for trespassing if they wanted to.

I never said he was being physically aggressive. I said he interrupted some other reporter's scheduled interview, was told to leave, refused, got shoved by pissed off candidate. Not a war on the press.

You're still refusing to acknowledge what really happened, Gianforte didn't lose his temper because Jacobs asked him a question he didn't like, Jacobs barged in to a place he wasn't supposed to be, actually interrupting other journalists from doing their job, and refused to leave after being told several times he

The other reporters who gave statements also said he was being a dick. They also said Jacobs came in the room they were setting up for their interview without permission, and he was repeatedly told to leave, but refused. It's not like he just clocked the guy out of the blue.

Is it really? There were several other reporters in that room who didn't get "assaulted". Ben Jacobs didn't get shoved because he's a reporter, he got shoved because he was acting like a complete asshole, an asshole who just so happened to be a reporter.

Ryan, McConnell, and the establishment RNC are pretty well disliked by most "grass-roots" Republicans. The more the RNC condemned Trump in the primaries, the more his numbers went up. The only hope the RNC had to stop Trump during the primary was for them to openly endorse him.

If voters refusing to vote for Hillary is what upsets you about the election, I've got some bad news for you about a lot of Democrats.

A considerable amount of Republicans despise Donald Trump, and are more than happy to go off about how much they hate him and how he's ruining the party blah, blah, blah. A lot of Republicans care way too much about people liking them.

It would actually be pretty strange if the Obama girls even know who Ted Nugent is; same for the Trump kid and Kathy Griffin.

Yeah, and they'd take your report, laugh at you when you left, and then do nothing about it. It's a shitty, shitty world.

Just describing what happened. Maybe you have a case for simple assault, basically making it more or less on the level with a middle school cafeteria shoving match, instead of the guy having to be wheeled out on a stretcher, which is a common perception when someone says they're a "victim" of assault.

He was grabbed and knocked over, causing no physical injuries, and at the time of the event, his only concern was his broken glasses. That's not an assault.

If he were an actual victim of an assault, you'd have a point.

Those people are also pieces of shit.

I don't think any of them are credible. It's all a clickbait factory now, it is what it is.

You're really reaching to suggest that I'm homophobic, or that I support the use of homophobic slurs. Your beloved Ben Jacobs once openly mocked Chelsea Manning, so maybe that's why I think he's a piece of shit?

There are journalists being straight up torture-murdered in Mexico on a regular basis, but this guy got shoved and yelled at by a Republican so.

Sorry to besmirch the work of such stalwarts of integrity and honesty like Mary Mapes and Dan Rather.

The fact that journalists are now considered "personalities" is the reason people no longer respect them. Just like this dweeb and his stupid glasses, it's way too often the reporter making themselves part of the story.

"Journalists" being total pieces of shit is part of the reason.
