I'm not sure about this, but I'm still excited...strong reservations, be damned!

American Horror Story: Coven. That is exactly what I thought when I first saw this photo. I was like, "Oooh, there's a new supreme in town!" Chills. I would join her coven, if she would have me.
I am working in retail for the first time and I am actually worried about that exact situation. I think I'm just going to mumble and avoid eye contact when it comes to that.
oh, the pleasure is all mine!
Between Samira's smile, Ellen Page's pout and Zachary Quinton's eyebrows, I am swoon.
This reminds me of the key and peele sketch:
"Semen flavors up the coffee" Who's their vendor, not for me, I'm asking for a friend...
I always wanted one but was never given the chance. My older sister had an Addy doll and I broke her leg (on accident!) and she had to go to the American Girl Hospital. My sister looked at me and said, "If she dies, it's on you". I never stood a chance.
"Ohio is for lovers!" But you know, only the straight kind.
I understand and appreciate your response. I think it would be great to see how this sort of thing goes down outside the USA, if only to call more attention to how many women (globally) are affected by this appalling behavior.
(Sorry for double response) The woman in the video might've only been hit on by brown men. That is entirely possible. But for some people watching the video, the take away wasn't, "wow, men can assholes" but "BROWN men can be assholes". That is what I don't agree with, as if men don't need help across the board.
I get that. Creeps come from everywhere; I don't like the US v THEM narrative that can come from these discussions.
He reminds me of Aaron Carter, which may or may not be fair to Aaron Carter.
Thank you, now we are getting somewhere. That video looked true to YOUR life (and many others), but it's not true to MINE (and many others). My experience is opposite of yours, with most harassment coming from white men. This in no way erases your experience, but please don't pretend it must be that way for everyone…
I agree, all men should be educated, however you chose to focus on a specific group of men, as if they alone hold the keys to shutting this thing down.
so what do you propose, since brown men are at fault? A self-esteem workshop?
oh, I'm sorry let me be more clear: your assertion that some cultures (brown) accept street harassment more than others (white) is bullshit. Just because we hear about it more from the Brown community (as seen in the first video) in no way means it's tolerated. As a black woman, I can assure you, it is NOT tolerated…
....um ok
It's such a strange situation when it comes to my hair. I've had men (and women) do the touch and run on my kinky curly hair but more often than not it's creeps in bars that lean over with their rancid breath and ask to "boink" my curls. As if I'm supposed to be flattered by their invitation. If someone grabbed my…
slave raping fantasies/ humor and n-word presidents, I have to say, as a black woman, I'm really winning the internet today.
