Did the trailers for the 1st one focus on the characters instead of the action/fight choreography? I can’t remember the trailers at all but I remember being really excited for the fight scenes.
The original film was a lot of things to a lot of different people. This one seems to channel the part of the original that appealed to lovers of artfully choreographed fight scenes. No one has called this “the second coming” or “Better than the original”. I just think it’ll be nice to revisit that universe, even if…
So you’ve seen it already? Or did we miss the accurate summary Cliff Notes trailer? Or were the acrobatics in the trailer that inspiring for this conclusion?
Nice, haha.
Oh god those same tired old excuses, do you guys never get bored of it?
A boogeyman witchhunt
Piracy is a result of entitlement. It’s usually a case where a minority percentage of the population ruins shit for the majority.
Hm... I've been playing rise of the tomb raider quite a lot. Not once did notice something weird that could be attributed to denuvo.
I see this claim a lot, but I have yet to have Denuvo impact the performance on any game that’s known to use it, and I own all but two of them at the time of this writing. What is your evidence?
Citation needed on the DRM ‘wreaking havoc’ on JC3. From what I understand since it’s an open world game it takes a long time to load initially. This is no different from GTA 5 or any of the other large open-world games.
Naw, not at all. That’s how SecuROM works, not Denuvo. If you want to install it on a new machine, you have to go online and download it, right? So when you do that, Denuvo can make another unique key, based on that new machine.
The ZX Spectrum, way back in 1983ish, had some copy protection that could make loading the game from a legitimate source a trial and error process. In those days you could copy a cassette-based game in any regular 2-deck player, so new ways of making the signal degrade faster when copying it were invented. I remember…
Haven’t had any problems with games and DRM in many years, in any of my games. Face facts, the gravy train is over, and pirates will either need to get new jobs or find a new hobby. Games are cheaper than ever, games plummet in price almost immediately after released. It’s the “excuses” for piracy that are becoming…
As it stands, piracy is a symptom to distribution flaws, drm flaws, pricing problems, and just bad people always being bad and never playing “fair”. It doesn’t give them carte blanche to go fucking with paying customers with abusive, intrusive and resource hogging DRM.
Can you show how Denuvo interfered with PC performance? I wasn’t able to find evidence of that, besides the old claim that SSD quality could be hit. So far as I know, that was actually found to be a problem with the game.
They’re Mardi Gras Indians, and they trace their cultural lineage back to the days when slaves and Native Americans made common cause. Their outfits loosely resemble Native American wear, but they come out of a long and in many ways distinct tradition. The Native Appropriations blog calls some elements of masking…
Actually, in one issue of the comic he was going to commit suicide because he thought a kid had been caught in the crossfire of one of his hits. He would never do anything to hurt someone who did not deserve it, and if he did, he would punish himself for it.
Come on, dude, it wouldn’t be an Internet comment if they didn’t phrase their opinion like it was objectively true.
I don’t like Erica’s art style.
