Nothin' lowly about that! Hi five!

Oh, me! Mee meeeee! I'm a female engineer! I have both a PhD in mechanical engineering and a vagina!

Hm, interesting perspective. I've seen a lot of, "Oh that? Haha; I hadn't seen that until you pointed it out! Haha! Hahaha!" That could very well be motivated by fear!

OH MY GOD.

"I really don't want to believe that the Chinese are going "This might kill someone or something? Eff it, ship it anyway.'"

We need to stop manufacturing in China and importing Chinese manufactured goods until they get their shit together with engineering ethics and manufacturing quality.

Interesting point. I don't think Tyra Banks and Stephanie Seymour (and Laetitia Casta) posed this problem! But these two ladies you highlighted here... they are lovely; I'd be proud to have them as my daughters. But as sex symbols... ooohhh... weird.

VS fabric and manufacturing quality sucks. Their fabric feels like a windbreaker jacket, and the underwires come sticking out of their bras after one wash.

Aw. I like that Taylor Swift does cheesy pop now. She's pretty, she's catchy, and it's what she was made for. Please leave the country music to serious musicians. I'll switch my radio back and forth and appreciate the hell out of both.

Not at all! Thank you for taking the time to share your advice! I have now bookmarked Captain Awkward for for afternoon tea break reading. :)

That's a good point. I should not be such a pushover. But I guess the pattern I am stuck in is by the time I am pissed enough to speak up, I'm not really attracted to the little bastard any more, so I just break off the relationship. How come I can't find a guy who is decent because it's the right thing to be, instead

Haha. I started grad school after nursing my then-SO through cancer. He had recovered and was looking for work, but to no avail. He was living the high life and putting me into deeper debt as I tried to support us both on my grad student stipend. I took contract work from my former employer, which was good money, and

I have a sincere question for you people and would appreciate some feedback. I don't know if this pattern is normal in dating or not. So, after I get close to a dude and we get to be an "official couple", dude essentially moves in for free. He comes over every night after work, I cook us both dinner, he spends the

I'm not gonna lie; I think it's pretty. VS getups are ridiculous, but I think they are supposed to be. It's all in good fun. :)

Am I the only one who feels the opposite? I wear makeup occasionally, but I'm SO self-conscious about it and feel like people will judge me for being girly.

She's a pretty lady, but obviously puts a lot of time and effort into it. If that's her thing, well... so what? A lot of women put a lot of time and effort into, say, knitting, but they don't pat themselves on the back for it, nor tell other women who don't knit that they are jealous losers who need motivation.

Well, aren't you a little special something?

That's nice, pretty lady. Gud 4 U!

Ooooh can I marry both of you? :~D
