Yeah, you could make your own noodles, but that’s a lot of work for what isn’t going to be any kind of difference. When you can get a pound of Barilla pasta for $1.50, making your own noodles is just about as sensible as paying an astronomical price. And let’s be honest, do you really think you are gonna do better

Nah, you can’t be like that. The person in the wrong is the person who committed the fraud. Period. That Levine is rich beyond our comprehension and maybe a little too smarmy for his own good doesn’t matter. He shouldn’t have been taken like that.

Ah, but not really. Dealers pull this crap all the time. It’s not ‘salvage’, but was in a flood, and you think you’re getting something you’re not. I’m glad people at all levels are calling out scammers on their bullshit. Whether it’s a $1K, $10K, or $1,000K car, the douche bags that believe this BS is acceptable are

Engine? No. They’re missing a huge opportunity to make it sound like Tron lightcycles or X-wings in flight. Can you imagine the licensing possibilities? Have your car sound like your favorite sci-fi IP?

There is not an engine soundtrack in the world that sounds good enough for this not to be dumb.

my exact thoughts, but you know... Dodge owners....

There is an element of this discourse that I think a lot of people are missing. I support LGBTQ+ right. I also thought Harry Potter was dumb 22 years ago when I was in high school and still think its dumb. J.K. Rowling has never gotten a penny out of me.

My god this is dumb.

This happens in every niche buying market that becomes popular. This happened with used vinyl records. 8-10 years ago you could go into a used store and find a copy of good to great classic rock albums for under $10.

Nah, if he can get ripped off I can *absolutely* get ripped off. Seinfeld went through it too, I’m all about contracts meaning contracts.

It’s basically how all retail works. They buy wholesale and sell retail. And then there are shops like TJ Maxx that buy close-out merchandise on a discount and then sell it in their stories. Or people who buy from the clearance aisle at Target and Walmart and then sell it on ebay (retail arbitrage).

It’s entrepreneurship, actually. Comparing thrifting to colonialism is fucking outrageous, and actively offensive to people actually suffering under colonialism.

If it isn’t work, then it must be easy. So what’s stopping critics from doing it?

I am trying super hard to sympathize with Adam Levine, but there’s just something about that guy.

This drama is unfounded—she has every right to upsell. She did the work of digging through all the crap—because you know that to find 10 good pieces she probably waded through 1000+ items. You are not just paying for the item, you are paying for the thrifter’s TIME and EYE for style. All these haters certainly don’t

Whew, I’d take Domino’s over Pizza Hut any day. If you haven’t had Domino’s since before the reformulation years ago, it’s so much better than it was in the “old days.” Pizza Hut around here was so bad that they closed almost all of them a few years ago. There are exactly two left within a 30-mile radius of me.

The “Idiocracy” timeline has just been accelerated by about 50000%

It’s the liberals fault for telling the kids what terrible fucking parents they are. If it weren’t for the leftists, that dude’s kid might still accept his bullshit as normal, but now they’re depressed because they have to live x more years with a sociopathic asshole.

Ran into a dude on FB today, who was ranting on a friend’s post. The post had to do with compulsory patriotism, but DAMN did this dude do his best to MAKE it about transgender issues.

Feels like McDonalds is missing a real opportunity to have some International themed locations in the US where all the good stuff from other countries is available.
