Yes that. Running 98 as opposed to 93 will make a difference in the timing charts to stop detonation. Plus I don’t think this car would pass Virginias OBD 2 tests or any state that checks emissions. As for Matt, no way his car passes CARB visual or OBD scan.

391 was the largest FT Series motor, which came in rigs like this. Now you can stroke it for extra displacement, better heads, intakes and cams and get a lot more torque out of it.
