Fact-checking politicians, they say, would potentially put them in the uncomfortable position of suppressing political speech, something a mouthy faction of Republican lawmakers already regularly accuse them of doing.

I don’t know where in the heck I’ll find the time in my schedule to read Julian Simon but I will use my human ingenuity to come up with new hours in the day in order to read more.
All three of your points here are accurate and I’m just writing this comment to say so.
It’s the first time we’ve added a full billion people since 2011, when humanity reached the 7 billion mark. And things have slowed down from there.
That section of Arizona is alright but the southern section (San Diego to Tucson) is very empty.

Honey bees are integral members of most ecosystems because of their role in pollination.
the film handled it clunkily
The fact the boy is in the previous scene makes for a less than cohesive connection but we choose to believe she found out well before that, and just decided to keep it a secret.
My apologies about the bad comments on this article.
The mitochondria inside Namor’s muscles will work extra good if he’s getting more oxygen, I guess is the logic going on there.
Dang good point with your first paragraph. That contextualization makes sense that it “has” to be that particular character because if it was, say, T’Chaka then that would just be Black Panther Ancestral Plane scene redux, and the MCU cannot have reduxes (unless it is What If...?)
The weirdness of the third act…
True fair this is not an addition to the Namor powers/abilities I think that I disliked it in the film mostly because I felt that the final one-on-one fight was only “necessary” because Comic Book Movies “need” to have a one-on-one fight, and therefore I’m extra annoyed at everything that contributed to the Mandatory…
Two characters died but only one of the humans portraying those characters died. So the decision to kill off another character is another “oh the plot needs this to happen, so it has to happen” story element which I just shrug at. It’s already a film about grief but it needs to kill this particular character in order…
I agree with your first sentence because even though I think of G/O Media as a large company with writers across multiple time zones and countries, sometimes they gotta just use the NYC and LA staff they have.
Having seen the movie on Thursday and Friday nights I realize I could write a lot about this film, so let me try to summarize.
I’m glad that this film of the MCU franchise chose to add even more diversity into the MCU.
My apologies about, uh, several comment threads here, yikes.
io9 has a revered space in the nerd web on account of its founders, not because of its current writers
io9 has some difficulties in writing much about shows that release all of their episodes at once, as The Sandman did. They gave this show an okay amount of attention, such as these articles
I was being a little bit snarky but I remain convinced that the stronger scientific evidence is for permanent standard time.
