That’s what they said: “The OG NIN Hurt is the best”.
The NA Miata also used a copy of the Minilite wheel. Mazda should be commended for building something very close to the Elan is spirit while being reliable and durable
Don’t forget about the Manfred-Mann hit “Blinded by the Light” that was light years better than Bruce Springsteen’s original.
I think the problem came to be that the larger car (civic) started to surpass the fuel economy of the Fit while being better in every way. Once superior fuel economy is out people tend to go for the bigger model.
“What’s the scariest moment you’ve had behind the wheel of your car?”
I mean, props to him. Saved it there. Not sure I’d have the skills to save a sliding McLaren F1 in the drizzle.
I'm not a jeep guy, haven't ridden in one in maybe 25 years, so I'm not familiar with that "Death Wobble" but it sounds terrifying.
I wonder if that smokestack articulates to hit cyclists and the occasional Prius.
I know you're speaking figuratively but when you say "death wobble that pushed me over the edge" it almost sounds like it caused you to drive off a cliff. Either way, I'm glad you're ok and rid of your Jeep!
I have a old F250 diesel. DD it and very rarely ever tow unless its for work (taking trailers back from a jobsite). Ended up purchasing it a few years back for the reliability, ease and cost of repair when it does happen, and the bed/cabin space, which I use every week for my retail business (not exactly who they…
The mileage is the ONLY short coming of the Rdigeline. It’s all the truck most of us need. Now my sister in law tows two horses from Ca to Idaho every year, so she rightfully got a Dodge Cummins. Great engine, but the rest of the truck is disintegrating around the drive train.
I remember Car and driver reviewing and suggesting that it would be better if Subaru built it with a permanent truck cap and called it the outback.
Aside from it’s less than stellar gas mileage, the ridgeline is a pretty awesome vehicle. Make a hybrid version that gets better gas mileage and I’d buy one.
Almost everyone would disagree with you about the Ridgeline. It’s the truck that most people who think they need a truck, actually need. It’s got 5000lbs towing; the cabin of a Honda Accord; a decent bed with locking, waterproof underbed storage. With the gate down and some straps you can haul plywood, bikes, etc...…
Second this - I just got rid of my horrible horrible 2020 Gladiator and into a Colorado and am never looking back. Among a plethora of minor ‘oh it’s a Jeep thing’ issues - it was the “let’s scream at each other to have a conversation” level highway noise and unpredictable appearance of the ‘Jeep thing’ death wobble…
