You could get a V8 GS later in it’s lifecycle. GS400 and GS430.

So many Rush references! I love it.

Tom Sawyer doesn’t have a drum intro. Think of the Toronto airport....

I talked with my Dad about this probably 10 years ago. He told me when he was in auto shop in high school he wondered the same regarding alternators for energy. He said the teacher showed them that placing a strong electric demand or draw on said alternator can stall a V8 from the energy needed to turn the alternator.

Cool! Watched the entire video. Also, never ever buying one of these. They seemed cool but this is officially off of the list.

Yeah, I have seen pics of that car. Hard pass.

Maybe a Caprice PPV project car is in order. That is the only way I could get in on these.

Cost of a new car in general. Too much money for something we don’t actually need right now. We have a 2017 F-150 and a 2014 335i (with an older Cobalt as a backup). Add in the electrical mods for an EV and it gets worse.

Aside from the ridiculously huge wheels the infotainment screen makes this look cheap. Put in real gauges you cheap bastages, even for the EV related stuff.

I don’t think Jeep is the only victim here as far as the death wobble. I believe Ford F-250s “enjoy” them too. And yes, it sounds terrifying.

They aren’t trucks for truck people anyway. My boss rented one and didn’t get 5 miles from the airport before the death wobble started. Scared the crap out of him. I sounded great just talking about them before they came out but in practice they are not good at anything other than image.

I was referring to the other three doors. Just seems like an odd location.

NO, it was my son’s car. He decided he needed a 2500 crew cab diesel. Obvious upgrade path... It is a RWD auto.

I have a new-to-me 2014 335i. I have to Google how to unlock the doors. It is a silly location that makes zero sense. That car has a few oddly placed controls but boy is it fun to drive. Harsh over the bumps but fun.

Today’s list...

Production and quality issues are Ford’s specialty.

They bowed to public pressure. But it was messed up.

But share price is all that matters to these people. Remember the concept of stakeholder? GM doesn’t.

If everything they make didn’t get recalled 10 times they might be able to turn a profit.
