The fact that Honda S660 is the slowest brand new sportcar you can buy right now still capable of hitting 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 10 seconds flat (11 seconds if CVT) despite it’s less powerful than Mitsubishi Mirage shows that cars are objectively faster now compare to my old days

My dad bought a new Cross-Fire Infected Trans Am, specially ordered, in 1982.  The car was gorgeous but it could not get out of its own way.  Sounded good while “accelerating” though.

Only one car breaks 10s? These aren’t even trying to be slow. Come back when they’re serious. There is zero need for every car to be able to hit 60 mph in under 10s.

This article made me chuckle. I was going to say that at least they all break 10 seconds. But nooooo... way to go, Mitsubishi!

Grew up in the 70s/80s when a sub-TEN was hot. And a 6-sec 0-60 was supercar territory.

I will just leave this here: https://www.zeroto60times.com/1980s-car-0-60-specs/

Funny, I just rented a Kona (previous generation) and over 500 miles of city and highway driving I never once thought that it was slow or needed more power. We’ve come a long way from the 70s and 80s and the truly slow cars. We’re living in a great age when the slowest cars you can buy now are pretty much faster than

Once they deviated from the Series+displacement for regular models and M+Series for performance models, I kinda lost the plot.

Does it wrap around the side like the hospital in Idiocracy?

Didn’t somebody already make that?

How I feel about the aesthetics of these varies from day-to-day. Yet I am 100% thrilled that they exist.

Androids are for degenerates

Top Gear did a segment on this car, and love him or hate him, Jezza’s take helped make sense of what you’re looking at.

subjective.... its definitely not an ugly car.

can’t wait to try out the new i4iM70i

You mean my wife’s 2015 BMW 435i Gran Coupe xDrive M Sport had too long of a name?

As others have noted this could easily change in a matter of hours:

My realistic 4 car garage is an ‘07 Highlander and whatever Hot Wheels my son left in the back seat.

Thats the really neat part, they still do make a profit ($1.3B) because expensive gas guzzlers.

By moving “really, really fast” does she mean it was stationary and the plane few by it at around 150mph (assuming they were landing)?
