Honda Ridgeline. It starts at $41k USD, has an interior that’s as roomy and comfortable as an Accord, rated to tow 5000lbs (and has been shown to be more than capable of this by Dave Tracy), and has handy under the bed storage. It’s a Honda so it’s going to last forever. It’s the truck that most people who want a…
I’m from vsNEW - happy to answer this. We’ve tested against manufacturer tools and some limited tests where we measure battery capacity by draining the battery and charging it slowly. We think we are within 3% of true capacity with our 2 minute test (compared to hours at a charger), and expect to improve our models ove…
$225 for even a single use purchase isn’t a bad price when you consider the battery is by far the most expensive component and the price is comparable to getting a used car inspection, which everyone should do before buying a used car from anyone, including dealers.
Up front cost is the big one for me. And a lot of other people.
Okay Tesla haters......lets go. 10 year old car with 100k miles and only 12% less battery. You all have to admit that is pretty impressive.
“Killers Of The Flower Moon was so long, in the time it takes you to watch it, you could drive to Oklahoma and solve the murders yourself.” Sorry, Jimmy. The murders were solved.
Super Mario World is just perfect. It’s the ultimate distillation of everything the SMB series brought to video gaming. The level designs are inspired and endlessly inventive. The movement is intuitive, but very deep (you can do SO MUCH with the cape!) The character designs are filled with personality. There are…
As someone who regularly revisits it, I truly, deeply believe that Super Mario 64 remains the best 3D platformer ever created.
The partnership between Honda and Isuzu famously spawned the Isuzu Trooper/Honda Passport
You guys really need to make up and reunite with the Autopian crew rather than just re-hash their articles (https://www.theautopian.com/help-me-figure-out-what-cars-were-rebadged-from-a-fancy-brand-to-a-downmarket-brand/).
Pretty sure Jalop posted that article.
Saw the title and thought
I don’t understand the concept that a 100k miles car is unreliable. I have a 2012 Passat with 264k miles and it’s been nothing but reliable.
This AD requires repetitive inspections and audible tap tests
nice click bait headline, the wing didn’t disintegrate, a part of the slat did. they were never in any serious danger.
Mazda CX-30. Not really a CUV, and the aggrssive steering/handling makes them a hoot to drive. I’m partial to the Carbon Edition: Polymetal exterior with a red leather inerior:
Cruise ships. Range anxiety, risk of fire, bad performance when weather changes. These all seem like bad idea when you’re in the middle of the ocean surrounded by sharks. Cruise ships have enough problems with people getting sick and toilets backing up and the occasional flood, (and recently people dying) let’s not…
These things are other-worldly stunning IRL. I have yet to see a photo that does them justice.
The LC is one of those cars that looks amazing in person. Pictures can’t do it justice. It has significant road presence, an amazing naturally-aspirated V8 and is almost certainly a very comfy place to be.
