Good point.
Good point.
If/when Tesla opens their chargers to every EV maker those chargers will be overwhelmed. I think they need to keep building charging stations just for their own growth.
While operating costs are much lower the total cost of ownership still has a ways to go. As far as service from a shop or dealer ripping you off, Tesla will come to you to do the ripping. Not sure that is a plus.
“Which Chinese brand can you buy in the US now?” Buick! I kid. Mostly...
I love how the industrialized parts of the world that have benefitted from cheap energy for decades cries pollution when a less wealthy area may get some of that “old” technology to improve their situation. Reduce, reuse and recycle.
That would be a hard pass from me. I don’t see how that would be in my favor ever.
The devil is in the details it seems.
I moved 1300+ miles for my first (minimum wage) job. The desert Southwest didn’t have a thriving economy). Right now I wouldn’t do it because my folks are getting up there in age and I have a new Wife that came equipped with 2 kids and 4 grandkids. But I learned “You go where the money is” for your skills.
The first time I logged into one of the earlier betas I had to wait maybe ten minutes. Since then almost zero wait. I did not try the server slam. The last time I played everything seemed fine and I don’t want to invest too much into a character I won’t play and spoil the actual game launch for me.
Where are you buying a base Model 3 for $32.7k? Canada? If you are including the tax credit I doubt most people looking for an cheap new car qualify for anything close to the full tax credit.
I agree somewhat but rely on being considered a luxury car to help justify their price. I don’t see them as luxury vehicles (the 3 and the Y (or any of them really)) even though they do some amazing stuff. Give the standard range Model 3 cloth seats and a $30k starting price (not $39,924 or whatever) and THAT would be…
They are doing well, at least for the model Y and 3. Close to being on my list but they are still too expensive new or used. As far as the Cybertruck goes I really don’t see that body style doing well. I am a truck fan, just not THAT truck.
I think Rivian has been building out their production capacity too.
The SS is basically a shorter version of this plus a livable interior.
Love all these stories referring to vehicle transaction prices going up regarding the success of the company and projecting more of the same. I’m sure the only reason these prices have gone up is that the companies have done a fantastic job giving the customers exactly what they want.
Agreed. Felt like it had weight to it.
They sell more base or dressed up base model Chargers/Challengers than the high performance ones. They are fairly cheap and comfortable cars.
You are wrong. Very few people buying a new Demon meet any of those stereotypes. Maybe a used salvage titled Hellcat, but not a new Demon. Those are pretty pricey.
This. Unless it is having mechanical issues keep the old car.
I had to scroll through like 10 different articles between this “article” and the comments section. Add in a dozen repeating ads. And I am not referring to a slide show. I zoom out enough to skip that. I guess they are making sure they get the ads and other articles in even if with ship the slide show. Not fun at all.
