I didn’t have the mountains thankfully. I expected better but it was very hot. Maybe a NA motor would have done better.

How was the gas mileage? Was it the 3.5L? I towed around that in the middle of July a while back. 99 degrees at midnight in Phoenix and 8.5 mpg for the roughly 24-hour trip.

I wouldn’t mind one of those. Nice HP and normally aspirated response. And no supercharger up-charge at the dealer AND the pump.

I don’t see how this movie is seen as a “tent pole” movie. The character isn’t one to carry a franchise imo.

What do you get with a luxury EV? A vehicle made by a manufacturer who focuses on build quality and customer service (and over charging for every damn thing....including removing stuff, but where was I?).

I am in my 50's (damn....) and the new Vette looks good from some angles less so from others. The side air intakes were not done well. My Dad, who is in his 70's loves the new Vette. And the YouTube car sites seem to love it.

They don’t get to decide if they leave. Maybe a majority of states agrees to let them out but that is a long shot. And an armed revolution is even less likely given they would instantly be occupied by probably dozens of US military installations.

Not if all the money moves out beforehand.

Agreed. In El Paso TX here and people here have enough restrictions (unless you have a golf course or other industrial high water use facility). The land in Hudspeth county (and probably anywhere else) may not have the water rights for you to drill a well.

I would think the higher power draw from faster acceleration would deplete the battery sooner. A higher HP motor using all of it’s power potential will use more electricity.  Software can manage that output but to me I say put in a bit a lower power motor and advertise more range.

Scale it back to a 6 second 0-60 time and add range. I just think that would be a better focus.

This could do with about 30% less HP and torque and more range. I know it Wows people but using acceleration as a metric to sell EVs is getting old to me. It’s not that I don’t like fast, just that not everything needs to do 0-60 in 3 seconds.

I don’t trust them as an auto manufacturer. I think they cut corners that major OEMs would never do. And I have read their customer service is horrible. They still have some of “it” left and I admit to casually looking at their stuff. I just don’t know if I could put my money on one.

I clicked Nice Price but it is really too expensive. I do like the car (except for the black wheels..) but this would need to be $15k or so for me. Or $12k. So I lied. CP.

Agreed. Cart before the horse and all that.

Looks like the EV revolution will be delayed. Maybe the infrastructure will have some time to catch up.

Holding out for Geostorm 2..

Hard pass. No thank you.

Took me a long time to accept that I need to wear gloves.

It seems the flag is only for the politicians to hide behind these days.
