I dislike all the flat machined surface look (VW, Toyota, Scion and many others).

I agree. We seem to be ok with thousands being killed and injured as long as it is somewhere else. But slap someone? Hell no. To be honest I didn’t watch the show (never have) but I figured it had been planned in advance. I am no expert there though. Just a cynic.
My folks had a 77 Cordoba when I was in about 2nd or 3rd grade. Was a nice car it seemed. I wouldn’t mind one to do a resto-mod on. It would probably end up with an LS and a 6-speed of some kind. NP even though I think the price is a bit high.
Especially with fears of slow charging as well as companies showing off new faster charging technologies.
ICE vehicles didn’t involve local, state and federal mandates and celebrities’ publicly shaming us common folk to buy the new mechanized monstrosities (I don’t think??). That was mostly market forces at work. And the companies that have been planning EVs could/should have communicated early about what it would take to…
And no mention of the actual install size...
It’s almost like no one planned out infrastructure issues before building EVs.
Uphill? Both ways??
Went from an 01 Tundra to a 17 F-150 EB. I miss my Tundra. Should have accepted the poor fuel economy and bought a Crewmax.
They are fine. Maybe not exciting to most, but otherwise fine vehicles. I would pick a Fit over a HR-V just because it has more roomy.
My first car was free to me. But in pieces and parts. A 60 Plymouth Valiant that my Dad used to teach me how to wrench on with. Good times. As far as this kid? Social considerations aside get a Honda Fit and a set of winter tires on steelies or an older Volvo 240 or something with the same winter tires. Invest the…
How? Dedication and perseverance sir!
I agree with you but after a heart attack a few years ago I get dizzy going back and forth under my truck. I still do it but need to move more slowly.
Had the dealer do my oil changes on my F-150 for a while. They were quick and more affordable that I had anticipated. Last time I changed it myself it took me 3 hours and 3 different tools to get the filter off. I didn’t realize Ford recommended that they weld the filters on. I will do them myself until I can’t any lon…
Mostly unrelated but my Dad told me when Mobile 1 first came out it looked like water almost. He said it bugged him enough that he switched back to conventional. A few years later he switched to synthetic for everything. Mobile 1 to start with then years later to Royal Purple.
Agreed. The interior materials didn’t reflect the corporate described premium aspirations. I would take a regular H3 with the V8 thankyouverymuch.
Damnit.... Saskatchewan, Canada. East of Moose Jaw.....
I was delivering pizzas years ago when I made a left turn onto a busier residential road and was almost hit by a vehicle moving faster than I anticipated. They turned around and chased me for several miles. Only after several miles did they turn on their red and blue lights to pull me over. The officer asked me why I…
Yeahbut......
That Volvo is now today’s obsession thankyouverymuch!
