Neither does going out of business. There would be room for their crowd sourced ICE vehicles I think. Do what you do, and maybe keep an eye open for opportunities to expand. Completely pivoting to a different “thing” is very risky. Whatever magic there was with your initial product and supporters will probably not

At least Chick-fil-A does a pretty awesome job of getting people their orders fast. The ones I have gone to excel at this.

Aero is a consideration, but it isn’t the only consideration.

Magic wall pixies is about right. I still think we are starting at the last step rather than the first when it comes to moving away from ICE. But it sounds like you have a good plan. Gotta leave room for some fun, and the Miata is a god place to start.

I had a 1st gen Tundra extended cab prior to the F-150. Loved it except for the fuel economy and the rear seat room. Should have kept it but I got the new (to me) truck itch a few years ago. Can’t complain. I have done more truck stuff with the Ford, but that was more due to need at the time.  An Alpha wagon would be

My boss bought his wife a Model 3 a few months ago. He describes it as “thin”. I don’t think their build quality is close to a mainstream manufacturer much less a luxury manufacturer. I am not sure I trust them as a car maker. Technology innovator? Ok. Pushing and pressuring the EV market? Yep. Do I trust them to

My F-150's rear seat folds up to open up a large area for stuff. Big screen TV? Check. Large dogs? Check. Don’t think I could fit a washer or dryer as they would be too wide, but I love the room. I realize an F-150 is a bit larger than a Tacoma, but yours will outlive mine. Probably worth more too lol.

To paraphrase myself a bit, damnit. I like these and would REALLY look into buying one (2nd or 3rd model year...) if they were anything besides a pipe dream.

Damn. True, but damn.

For me the crew cabs are just too useful to pass up on. I like that look better too.

That motor might be too large to fit. The motor in the 500E was large enough to require a lot of work (by MB and Porsche) to make it work.

True, but an LS would be much less expensive to maintain and produce more power and better fuel economy (probably) versus the Mercedes motor.

I think they are completely using the chassis from the Hummer. Whether or not that is considered body on frame I don’t know.

No amount of charging convenience will over come the ridiculous styling of the Cyber Truck imo. The Chevy looks pretty good. Splits the difference between what we expect trucks to look like now and what they could look like in the near future.

A pearl necklace?

I enjoyed most of the Mandalorian. This first episode of Book of Boba Fett was not entertaining. At all. We may watch episode 2 just in case.

They are nice cars. Not benchmark-setting. Not some sports sedan. Just a nice, roomy comfortable car. I tried to get my wife to look at them but she decided on a Sonata before we even looked.

I think the MR2 interior works better. Both are neat cars though.

Thank you. Couldn’t understand why there were not pictures in the article.

The CH-R and CRV are fine. I like the look of the CH-R actually. But you are correct about the CLA. Self inflicted reputation reduction.
