Also slots below the 918 nicely.

And the “system” is designed to keep you there, not help you out of it.

Are these actually somewhat reliable? I had read often (here no less) that from the late 90’s through 06 or so the quality was not very good on many MBs.

I actually read most of the article. The best part? “In 1978 the U.S. versions were launched, using a 70hp 1700cc Volkswagen engine, largely because Volkswagen had extra capacity and their engines were emissions-friendly

Neutral: Who’s Next On The Shit List? What about Ford and their eco-boost stuff? Seems that they only achieve they fuel economy targets under epa testing. Wouldn’t more fuel use equate to high emissions as well? Those motors were built to pass those tests.

Another aging back agrees. And I have hated this trend for years. As useful as the dudes with their pants half-way to their knees.

Looks MUCH better to me than the recent gloss black things they have had.

Brand image has been an issue as far as quality. Now this out the TDI crowd and they have issues for sure. Personally I wouldn’t mind a depressed price TDI as long as I knew Texas wouldn’t pull some California CARB BS and tell me I HAD to have it fixed or I couldn’t register it. I don’t even think I would mind the

Neutral: Will Dieselgate Speed Up Electrification Across The Board?

Same here. Boss and I had a rental Malibu about 6 months ago. Not a bad car at all. I have not driven or ridden in anything comparable though other than a Hyundai Sonata. I think I would grudgingly give the Malibu the nod there.

39 to 42 Highway for 2012. They still beat their EPA rating.

Neutral: Should Anyone Go Diesel Right Now?
