+1 We have become spoiled. My 01 Tundra "only" has 315 lb-ft of torque and it does fine. The HP/Torque competition is mainly for marketing. Nice F-150 though.

It may be a horrible thing for YOU to buy, but most of us here live somewhere where we have some choice on what we spend our money on. One could argue that ANY car purchase is a bad move financially, especially for those on limited budgets. But research alone can help, but not guarantee a reliable vehicle purchase.…
I am not a fan of this car's looks.
Never cared for this. I respect it, but it just looks...odd to me.
Thank you for the reply. I will replace the O2 sensors and PCV and see what happens. I probably wont mess with the intake, as my Wife might not like the sound.
Wouldn't the sensor or PCV throw a code? I have changed filters and fluids, plugs and wires (sucks in these cars), tried synthetic oil, tire pressure.
I can attest to the crummy fuel economy. My Wife drives one, and it gets worse mileage (14+/-) in mixed driving than my 01 Tundra.
They should have built that. It is a lot more attractive than the 130R concept.
I agree with you, but the quality/reliability thing worries me some. I would love a 300/Charger, Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, etc. Even the Ram and Challenger are nice. We shall see I guess. I may start there, but end up who knows where...
I would buy it if it was available with a manual (and a diesel!). Front end could be a little lower, but overall I like it.
Love these (and the Impala SS above). Classy, modern, and not obnoxious.
Awesome. Thank you. Now to find a decent used one in the desert southwest..
Thinking about picking up one myself. How has the durability been for you? Anything seem cheaply put together?
Older than we want to admit probably :/
Two things that always got me were VW sales staff regurgitating the "Good ol' German engineering" line, and GMC folks saying their trucks had thicker frames than the Chevys.
Love these. No room for a second car, and I don't have the cash to support keeping this up as a DD. Sadness.
From the looks of the "before" pics there appears to be suspension damage to go along with the body damage.
PC Name: Umm, mine
I don't use the public fridges at work much. One area has a bunch of people who like to be vindictive. I usually freeze left overs and put them in an insulated lunch bag. I have considered bringing an unused mini-fridge now that I have an office.
IMO it will be decades for us to see that. People seem to be a lot more "OK" with automated 3000lb cars. 80k lb trucks are an entirely different issue all together.
