I work in public school transportation, and the new DOT physical requirements will cost us drivers too. Staffing has always been tough for us.

Toyota doesn't focus on low/no margin fleet sales with the Tundra. It has always been aimed at the much more profitable personal use market. They don't make a ton of stripped out trucks, and even when they do, they aren't doing massive discounts. They make a good truck. Expensive, but overall a good truck. It wont win…
Had to scroll for an hour to see if someone else caught that. Evil minion or something.
Seems like they could integrate that or attach it to the under side of the hood for safety and/or soundproofing reasons. Then when gear-heads open the hood we can see what the motor really looks like. I suspect they have the plastic covers there in part to dissuade people from wrenching on their own car.
Hope you are patient. I would love one, but I just think the suits wont let it happen.
Carbon Fighter?
Gas costs less than a new vehicle payment. Gas would need to be over $8/gal for me to break even replacing my 01 Tundra. Granted, I don't drive that many miles a year. My math may not work if you drive 15k miles a year, as I average like 7k.
The Border Patrol here in west Texas have Raptors. Painted like other service vehicles, but still a Raptor.
I agree. I do not like the looks of the CLA. Not saying it is a bad car, but I wouldn't buy it.
Haven't looked yet, but I know, lol.
Yeah. I see a few around here. Most look fairly ragged.
Andress class of 86 here. Hope you didn't go to Irvin :)
I am still mad they let the Vortec 4200 go to waste.
Love these. I would love to find one in somewhat bad shape and redo it with an LS motor. Awesome cars.
I live in the desert south west, and have grown to appreciate lowriders as well. Their passion and detail can be amazing. There are a couple of late 80s early 90s Cadillac lowriders here that look really nice. Sorry, no pics :/
I agree. Styled with a sponge.
80,000lbs is tractor trailer territory. No half ton (or 3/4 ton, or 1 ton etc) will do that. I think the Ram 3500 can be configured to tow 30,000.
Glad I live where I don't have to justify my vehicle choices to some random person on the net. Drive what you want, leave others the same choice.
I miss my 91 S-10. Did pretty dang good on gas, and the stuff that did break was usually cheap enough. I had the two-tone paint though, and THAT did suck. The paint peeled like crazy after about 3-4 years.
I think I have seen $400k thrown around as the cost of a full size or class electric C bus. About $80-100k for an ICE powered bus.
