While I don’t enjoy Sarah Sherman’s comedy stylings, I think ‘Comedy is about taking risks’ is a good way to look at it. I don’t enjoy what she does, but I’m glad SNL is taking a risk with adding in her peculiar sensibilities (and hope that they keep doing it, but with a performer whose sensibilities jibe with my own.)

We own two EVs and a PHEV, and I’m okay with this. We’re using the same roads but not paying the same use taxes. EVs may have lower emissions but they’re responsible for the same wear-and-tear. There are already substantial existing incentives for EV ownership.

The new Google TV (fka(?) Chromecast) has Roku beat by a country mile. There’s a deal on slickdeals where you pay $89 for the Chromecast and get 6 months of Netflix for free, making it cost about $12 out of pocket if you’re always a Netflix subscriber like I am. We’re switching out all our Rokus - I’m tired of this…

You might want to check and see if Fire TV has HBO Max before you make the switch (spoiler alert: they don’t). I’m not sure how HBO Max still hasn’t made it onto these platforms, but it’s a fair assumption that it’s not solely Roku throwing their weight around.
