I never really cared about immersion. Especially not when it’s trying to be forced on me. I spent WAY much more time in Far Cry 4's handicapped coop mode and I found it more “immersive” as I actually felt like I was exploring the world with a partner

There are multiple universes in DB so it could have just taken place in an alternative universe. I’d prefer that over time travel nonsense. Xenoverse had the chance to do the one thing DB games on console refuse to do. Stop going through events we’ve been watching/playing for 20+ years.

The game takes places EXTREMELY far away from the main DB/DBZ storyline. Time travel isn’t necessary for anything other than to use pre-established characters. I would love if the video games kinda started their own story with their own characters.

Also worth noting, DB Heroes is also where Xenoverse shamelessly gets it’s storylines/characters and “special” transformations. Hence why Xenoverse 1 and 2 basically have the same plot and the random “Time Patrol” thing.

Because it got re-released and games don’t just die after launch. Not everyone plays every game. So like it kinda says in the article, if you haven’t played it before, now is a great time.

I remember when the game first came out. Played quite a bit in 3s and 2s. Then I got into competitive. Solo Duel....got pretty high...then came across MarkyDooda. Beat him maybe once? I played him 5 times in a row. And continuously got matched up against him for 3 weeks. Checked leaderboards and he was like the top 5…

Had a good amount of interest in both these games but purchasing games for me is rare, so this is awesome. I’m not huge on indies but they definitely look cool
