Man I remembered when they first showed TERA

I’m not criticzing WoW at all.

I honestly wish someone would take the time to read my comment as it was posted. I said NOTHING critical of WoW. I’m saying that a lot of MMOs still play like this. Stand off battles. WoW was released in 2004. I don’t expect it to change.

I just want Vindictus and Dragon’s Nest on PS4. I’ll be fine and never have to buy anything ever.

1) Nothing about what I said could possibly be directed at WoW, besides “THIS”. You know why? Because I never directed it towards WoW. WoW is the thing I’m comparing newer MMOs to. Reading comprehension is an awesome thing. If I had said “very sad that this MMOs combat is still like this” maybe you’d have a point.

Man...I really wanted to make a Battleborn/Super-genre tweet here. But I'm tired. Someone help. Rising Thunder is:

It’s funny though cuz I literally never mentioned WoW but everyone is replying to me like I did

No pun intended but it's a double edged sword. All of the games that push for more responsive, physical combat kind of suck when it comes to everything else. Mostly because they're developed overseas and built for monetization there. Either that or they just rely too much on grapples lol. I'd give it another 2-3 years

Well DCUO was a very good step in the right direction. I would assume it took so long to develop for that reason. When I fight in DCUO I don’t feel like I’m playing an MMO. It very clearly is one but I played DCUO as a co-op action RPG and it felt great. I replay the main quest line a lot just to avoid the difficulty

Again. I never said anything about WoW. It's what, a decade old? I'm talking about newer games when you get hit with a sword and it flies right through you. Most games that use active targeting or physics based combat fall by the wayside or they are poorly developed to begin with, so the hotkey click click combat is

For some reason everyone is replying to me as if I took a jab at WoW or said it was outdated. I was simply stating that many new or recent MMOs have combat that resemble that of fighting this world boss.

Yeah but ya know, one day I'd love to fight a boss that physically knocks players away, or up into the air. Things like that. It may be a hollow vision but I can't wait until MMO combat is as tight as even a game like DB Xenoverse

Tons of MMOs still use the system of stand in place/take damage/attack/heal. Action/active combat isn’t “new” anymore but it's still being implemented poorly

Why would you ask me questions that don't pertain to my statement?

Very sad that MMO combat is still like this.

Wild Ass Six Pack. Gotta make it consumer friendly. WASP.

It’s retro in it’s approach. Start screen. Pick some colors. Play. No bs stat modifiers, perks, score bonuses, blah blah blah. I feel like I stole this game by getting it for free as PS Plus. Sometimes I wish it *did* have more though, but mostly in terms of presentation, like Monday Night Combat. But if I did have to

They could AT LEAST keep the co-op modes. Which were fun at least twice.

Because they had to match “Master Chief Collection”

3 was awful.
