14 (as well as 11) are MMOs and kind of get an exception.  The mainline single player games are the ones I’m referring to.  

Square has never made a well-written story sequel/prequel to any of their FF games, and the extended VII universe is probably the second worst offender (hello, XIII 2 and 3) smashing 20 years of bad stories into a remake has been one of the more annoying aspects of this project and largely one of the reasons I skipped…

They faithfully recreated a nonsense angry house with legs that punches you from the original. If they’ll do that, there’s no reason they wouldn’t keep the moogle.

Of all the things to complain about Rebirth, its faithful recreation of the Moogle from the Original FF7 is not one of them.

What makes me shake my head the most is that Conservative Politics have evolved and become emboldened to the point that they don’t really need the dog whistles and code anymore.

I am kinda irritated the game is doubling down on “SqareEnix’s Into The Cloud-o-verse” because we haven't had enough multiverse stories yet.

Sounds like it suffers from the problem that the first part of the remake had where it went “Hey, remember that single model of a mecha hand in the rubble on your way between two screens? What if that was the central focus of an entire 45 minute dungeon sequence, and you have to interact with it repeatedly”

Pentiment, let’s gooooo! When I saw the trailer for that I was excited for something that looked fresh and new. Sad it went to Xbox but glad it’s coming to playstation so I can play it!
