Oh, 100%. The part where you are on the city street set and clearly need to put a light into the car, I was stuck for almost 10 min looking for the light to absorb and bring back until I followed the neon signs as a guess.

For a good example of why Yellow Paint may be necessary, watch a Streamer play the We Sing level of Alan Wake 2.

I was wondering when this would happen, and actually looking forward to it. As one of the few individuals who actually just wanted my straight up remake I’ve been pretty jealous of all the Resident Evil, Dead Space, Mario RPG, Persona 3 etc etc fans who have been eating happy and content off the Nostalgia Menu. I’ve

The flashback sequence was so reminiscent and accurate to the original game it kinds makes me sad that the rest of the project is dedicated to flying off the rails the way it has.

I would still take console over PC simply for more of a guarantee that things are going to work rather than me—idiot that I am—putzing arpund with settings, and updating stuff, and making sure the controller/peripherals are all compatable blah blah blah.

I know there is an unfortunate number of media-illiterate people who actually desire the death of ‘ traditional media’ if not the journalists themselves but they’re really not thinking clearly. If traditional media goes down, where will their favorite Streamers find the articles to just read verbatim into a camera

Maybe my memory is hazy in my old age, but I remember back in the day a movie/game/book/show/whatever could come out, and if the thing was mid or even bad...that was it. It was just a mid/bad thing, and while people might wish it was better, we’d just shrug our shoulders and then move on with our lives. It was okay.

Bro, Deadpool killed the entire Marvel Universe and no one acted like this. You and everyone else screeching and rending their clothes online gotta chill man. it’s Batman. He’s not real. It’s okay.

Here, this should make you feel better.   https://www.cbr.com/batman-deaths-chronological-order-ranked/

This has been pretty much the conclusion of everyone that has been playing the game and approaching it in good faith. Basically it’s a perfectly serviceable One Of Those Open World Games with relatively fun combat/traversal, and suffering some technical issues but all of it is brought down to the ground by needlessly

Gamers(tm) were a mistake.

Bring back bullying, but only for The Gamers(tm)

Last of Us 3 is set in Seattle. Isaac wakes up, having survived his wounds, looks directly into the camera and says “everything we did was good, and just, and moral” before the WLF begins settling Scars’ island. You spend the rest of the game hunting down as many fleeing Scar men, women, and children as you can find,

It looks interesting to me! My hope is it’s a competent action game with a cool world that I’ll like but I’m not expecting GotY material here. Still, I hope it’s fun!

Xbox One’s original digital only, always-online pitch was never *stopped* by the backlash, it was simply *delayed*. Our games will all be digital, our consoles will require connections/check-ins to their servers or they won’t work, and servers will start getting taken offline within the same generation the games came

Game seems cool, and I like the sci-fi designs for the vehicles, enemies etc. Been a fan of Hyng-tae Kim’s art since the Magna Cart a days, and Destiny Child was the most generous gacha game I played where I didn’t feel compelled to spend money (sadly it ended last year)

Dog frisbee meme comic, but "no game culture!  Only review scores!"

Both of these games seem pretty cool. I definitely need some more things on the upcoming calendar to look forward to, or 2024 will be The Year Of The Backlog

While good examples I wonder if some aren’t...”economically dated” for lack of a better term? Today’s shitty capitalist hellscape is different than the ones years ago with some of these examples. Companies seem more and more eager to just axe entire studios and projects than they did back in the day. Riot just put

Infinite Warfare was a criminally underrated entry, and I want more Sci-fi shooters like that.

We all know that Negan, star of AMC’s Walking Dead was the best guest character they had. I think this trend should continue with other AMC Drama properties. Have we thought about Gus Fring from AMC’s hit crime show Breaking Bad? What about Mad Men star Don Draper?

Tifa? Easy pick. Predictable. Boring. Shows weakness.
