Honestly, the reason for the drop is probably far less interesting than how he’s been very successfully (read as: profitably) sensationalizing the whole thing.

It’s also a shit-fucking world where this clown is the one that gets to keep producing videos.  Fuck Spanfeller.

I think Kirk predicting this is just cheating at this point.

Should probably wait for a site or journalist to actually research this before spreading (thusfar) unproven wild rumors around, imh opinion.

I try to buy physical disks as often as possible for my console and DRM Free games on the PC if at all possible for this exact reason.

That episode was so bad. I get being upset about a video game or whatever but those people acted like Game Freak killed their f-ing dog or something, it was *embarrasing.*

Those “pie in the sky aspirations” like universal health care are all things the overwhelming majority of the planet has as a basic fact of their lives.

They’ll only remain “aspirations” if conservatives and Centrist cowards keep running away from it.

I mean, there’s “historical accuracy” that people cry out every time they see a woman/minority in their game, and then there’s the kind like this where they went out of their way to stress how much they wanted it to be period/region/timeframe accurate but then have it more as just a Samurai Fantasy adventure. Which is Read more

It’s funny this became a flashpoint for some people, but I think Tsushima is just catching the tail end of the backdraft from TLOU2. Especially since there *IS* some actual, legitimate criticisms to be had with the game I’ve read from Japanese people and scholars that’s getting lost in this mix.

Like, why’d they get Read more

Honest question but...who is this for? Legitimately what purpose does this serve? Do people need crowds in the background of the sport they’re watching? I GET wanting things to “be normal” but if people haven’t realized there is no going back to “Normal” at this point I don’t know what to tell them. Read more

I tried Skatebird and the inverted X and Y axis on the camera, along with my inability to find any option to change it made me hop out of it quicker than I wanted. BUT it was cute and fun while it lasted.

Cristales was also one of the more beautiful looking games I’ve played in a while with an amazingly well done Read more

They are the only party that we can pin a chance on that will do anything. However their track record on happily and eagerly compromising with the GOP when they don’t need to still looms over the possibility that the outcome will be as dire as if they had lost all of 2020.

For perfect and timely examples: please see Read more

There is hope. Of the three scenarios I listed, one of them is a clear path to victory over this crisis. It just depends on Democrats not bending over to gargle the balls of Conservatives and weaken the policies of what they need to do.

If they commit to the aggressive policies, don’t water it down, don’t compromise Read more

It’s not nihilistic, it’s accurate. Climate Science has set a very specific metric we need to hit in order to stop what we’ve done. They’re very clear that NOT hitting this metric will cause our situation to snowball beyond our ability to repair and survive. It’s very very very simple:

Did you hit X metric? yes/no? If Read more

If dems lose, they can’t do it and we all die to Climate Change
If Dems win, and water it down/compromise, we all die to Climate Change.

The positive end result is dependent on Dems both winning, AND actually having the balls to go through with everything despite corporate lobbying, Conservative whining and their own Read more

Now the real question is going to be: should Democrats win, will they actually do this? My biggest concern—and honestly what I’ve put all my money down on predicting—is that even should Democrats miraculously pull off a Senate and Presidential flip in November, they will bend over backwards to suck off as many Read more

Because Capitalism and business deals.

That is the long and short of it, really. It’s common for producers of consumer goods to enter into contracts with specific store chains to sell their products there. It’s why I can get Brand X potato chips at Whole Foods, but not at Walmart. If something happens, or they get a Read more
