There are plenty of created works that deviate from the source material and provide good or better works.

And a lot of fans liked the original two Fallout games, and Bethesda changed quite a bit, so yeah to your point *which* fans would one even try to please in this scenario? It’s simply not worth the effort to try and juggle all that when creating a work.

That’s not hard rule, sometimes deviation from the source material produces better work.

I dont mind outlandish outfits or sexy chatacter design at all. Designs should be fun and creative, but when a characters tits and ass are like...the *only* thing you hear these edge-maxers talk about, it just gets weird.

I think the game has plenty of stress depending on the content you’re doing. Ultimate fights certainly weren’t a leisurely stroll, neither were some Savage fights (on content). I’m not sure Island Sanctuary or something like that needs, say, the threat of my crops failing/animals all dying to be fun.
