I would imagine it’s going to take a bit to
1) process their feelings and
2) sit down and write about it.
Given they don’t have weekend staff anymore, and probably don’t have pre-written obituaries for their friends the way major media places do for famous people/politicians it’s probably going to take minute.

Give ‘em

Cloudfare operates in over 100 countries (according to them), that means they operate under 100 different legal definitions and applications of “Freedom of speech” so they can fuck themselves off into the sun if they want to try throwing that card on the table as a defense.

If they have one for the PS2 that would be awesome. The one my friend gave me (he’s a friend at work, so it was a thumb drive with a bunch of files I had to take home and install) is the PSCX2 and it’s archaic.  I was hoping to get something that’s just plug and play, but I’ve got to go through dozens of windows of

Had just bought Granblue when it was on sale a couple months back and after platinuming/100% Blazblue Cross tag had decided to move on to this last week.

I’m not saying one service is better than another, I’m saying the core argument of “X has exclusives and this is a bad thing” is a flimsy, dishonest premise because “Y has exclusives” as well, but is regarded by those same people as a good thing. An exclusive is an exclusive, is an exclusive. How it is an exclusive is

A thousand times this.  She's going to be happily retired while I'm slaving in the Wage Cage for the next 50 years.  Honestly, 100% fuckin' good for her!

It’s a decision the devs make regardless. No one is forcing them to release in steam or EGS, but once that decision is made, they sign a contract with plenty of requirements for both platforms.

The decision to accept an Epic contract w/ requirements is still a decision the devs are free to make. No different than deciding to go to steam, or itch.io along with any conditional requirements as part of it.

Devs are asked as a condition to the voluntary agreement they *choose* to enter into.  It's still a dev choice, so if we're allowing qualifiers for voluntary choices, the decision to go to EGS is one.  It's no different than any other requirement inside a contract Steam would have.

You don’t understand, they have *exclusive games*!

This is different than the literal thousands of exclusive games on Steam, that are exclusively on Steam, and cannot be found anywhere else but Steam.

Because Reasons.

I can’t believe they made an entire game about Abby’s backstory.

Can confirm from personal experience that the Halo ODST Xbox 360, the Gears of War 3 xbox 360, and the base model Xbox 360 will all RRoD on you within a year.

I dunno, I’m sitting here looking at the PS2 emulator a friend gave me, and it’s like 15 tabs of menus, settings, and check boxes and shit that I have no clue how to even run it. Why is my rom of the game running cutscenes at 2x the speed? why do my buttons not work? Why is it a tiny little window instead of filling

It’s one of those weird things where simply because the weird right-wing reactionaries got in 30 seconds after the very first reveal trailer to call it wokeity-woke-woke (despite the only thing “woke” was the presence of women and minority characters, HMMM...) it’s basically poisoned the well, so to speak.

Despite the

eehhh...Cyberpunk 2077 had weirder and more vociferous folks onlinecircling the wagons’ defenders than this. And I’ve personally qualified recommendations starting with “okay, so...it’s rough around the edges, and kinda buggy, BUT...” plenty of times before (most recently with Outriders).

Besides, if the honest

I’ve been curious about that “Century” game, the free dragon riding/flying one.  Haven’t had the chance to give it a shot but it looked cool, and released about a year ago so it’s fairly new

I legitimately thought Steel Rising was a rebranded LoP after long development when I saw its trailer.

Steam’s had exclusives for *years*. Thousands of them, both big and small. Try playing a legitimately purchased copy of Civilization 6 without ever downloading Steam. Total War series? You can’t. Its Steam Exclusive and those are just some of the bigger names. Hell, Steam used to have an entire category and branding

No, you bought Control for one platform--The Personal Computer (PC)--but for some reason bought three copies of it.  That’s like me buying three versions of the game on PS4.  Is it a Thing I Can Do?  Sure, I suppose.  Doesn’t make much sense though...

I still have NO fucking clue what “woke” means, but people were insistent that Saints Row was going to be it after only seeing the announcement trailer.  The only common factor I can find is that “woke” seems to be used an awful lot with visible speaking women and minority characters.
