Because the hate train is at full steam right now. I’m seeing a lot of criticisms that apply to a number of other games released this year alone, but many people had their minds set on this game from the first announcement, and everybody has just gotta be right about their first knee-jerk instincts and reactions.

In 10 years the next huge Bethesda RPG will come out and critics will be saying “it doesn’t have the charm of Starfield or Skyrim”.

I did not watch the cartoons these characters were in, but I think I have followed along well enough to get what’s going on. Overall I enjoyed it.

For a website that regularly spotlights cosplaying women it seems a little weird to basically demean them as “fluff”. I’m sure the hundreds of hours they spent on their costumes and makeup didn’t seem like “fluff” to them.
