They didn’t forget, there were multiple shots of the Crabfeeder scanning the skies for the dragons before sending his men out.

Wasting time trying to come up with prototypes that never panned out, when all they had to do was make a classic style Halo game.
I think it’s more an issue of the technical limitations of the original Xbox One hardware. The game already runs like its held together by duct tape and glue, there is no conceivable way that they’d get split screen co-op working on tech nearing 10 years old.
I think the reason they don’t do that is because of the licensing. I’m sure the NFL expects a cut of the profits each year and that requires a yearly release.
Well I can’t say I was expecting them to set the expansion in a glowing 80's cyberpunk city
There’s a lore summary in the main menu, plus you could always just watch a Youtube recap as well.
I think the Ned & Jaime fight is mostly just a matter of both actors not having any combat training, and no real way to fake it with choreography. Having two guys duel isn’t super costly, but neither Sean Bean or Nikolaj Coster-Waldau were hired for their stunt work.
I can understand wanting to cut out the Lady Stoneheart and Fake Aegon stuff, but I think the most detrimental change was altering Tyrion’s character arc.
I’m not sure what Mass Effect game Ari played, but this sounds nothing like a Reaper.
Meh, Ari pretty much always injects a personal hot take into every article.
I don’t know if this is considered “lesser known” but the built in Looking for Group feature is probably one of the best utilities Xbox has provided.
Exactly, I don’t know why anyone would complain about being able to pin your most used apps or games to the main page.
Theoretically you could just load into a private multiplayer sessions and walk around the map.
Activision really needs to reexamine where they contract the artwork and concepts for their skins.
It really feels like the current articles are mostly just reporting on weird fringe hot takes from Twitter and presenting them as breaking news journalism, and weird horny takes on games.
Maybe his Scientology super powers have finally manifested and he’s just hypnotized everyone who saw the film into doing repeat viewings.
Compared to the alternative of being forced to pay for cosmetics, I’ll take a free RNG system. Especially since you could still buy specific cosmetics under the old system using currency earned by playing.
You’re probably right, but I struggle to imagine a scenario where the technical challenges prevent them from releasing basic cosmetic content at a faster rate. Like I know that people complain about monetization, but even the in-game store lacks enough content for a 6 month season.
Yep. Even after the acquisition Microsoft is still only in 3rd place in terms of size.
Yeah, but Sony also gets defacto exclusivity on a large swath of games coming out of Japan. The Japanese devs and publishers don’t even pretend to be platform agnostic when releasing a lot of titles. So if anything, Sony already has a monopoly on a major segment of the publishing market.
