As a long time fan I think the switch to open world mostly paid off.

It definitely feels like when they rescoped development, they choose to refocus the story on the emotional baggage between Chief and Cortana and left the story of Zeta Halo and the Endless for future DLC.

It can be as little as 3 mins if you jump into a Bot match and just go to town.

Not sure why they decided to announce it before they were ready to show off any footage.

I don’t know if the GTA Trilogy counts as broken, so much as ‘intentionally made bad’.

Because learning map spawns has always been a core part of getting better as a player in Halo. It’s why having loadouts and weapon killstreaks in Halo 4 was such a controversial move, because it removed one aspect of the skill ceiling from the game, which is learning the maps.

Ari, I can’t believe you forgot to bring up Radio Grunt.

I’m surprised it took Sony so long to get to market with these. It seems like they’ve had these planned since before launch.

As someone who hasn’t played Fortnite, I’m always impressed by the sheer pace at which Epic has managed to add new features into their game, weirdly capitalist marketing cross promotions aside.

I feel like without Fortnite there’d never be the EGS.

The NPC chatter in Infinite is fantastic. Also it makes me feel really bad for killing Grunts.

I think it’s generic on purpose because they want to get it onto as many platforms as possible, regardless of operating system.

Yeah but they aren’t AAA devs and have relatively small staff sizes.

My first thought was that Sonic landed on Zeta Halo.

Great trailer, but knowing that Quantic Dream is making it gives me doubts.

The visuals look great except for the Spartan armor, which looks like cosplay.

I saw the header image and thought “Oh no, it’s Jared Leto.”

Hunter’s have a Marathon Security inspired helmet ornament. I believe another armor set from the new Dares activity is also Marathon inspired, as well as the new shotgun.

I always play a game solo for my first run specifically so I can experience the story without the interruption of banter, or having to tailor my play time to accommodate someone else’s schedule. Then my next playthroughs are usually co-op.

If I remember correctly, people didn’t even find them in Halo 2 until a developer dropped a hint about the location of one in the forums which led to a mad scramble to find them all.
