I’m gonna need to see some numbers on this. Not because I suspect Foxconn factories aren’t filled with uneducated trade-school workers*, but because I don’t believe most Chinese actors are well educated at all. Almost every Chinese actor bio I’ve heard goes something like “I was put into dance/martial arts/opera house

Actors inherently have a higher level of education”

They mean Doctor Who’s Indira Varma.

Now playing

Curse you. I cannot not click on this and watch it three or four times.

But the tone seemed critical

I don’t know what it would take to get me to watch another zombie movie at this point.

This is another good reminder that I’m not missing out on anything by not using Instagram.

I miss this series. It’s the first thing I thought of when I read the headline above.

At this point, the only thing worth doing with a Barsanti article is finding the link in it to the original source (or Googling it if it’s not included) to go read what was really said/written by the famous person. There’s no need to try to sort through or react to a recap written by someone with shit-tinted glasses.

I’m heartbroken that no episode I’ve seen has included Stottlemeyer asking Monk “Was she a great big fat person?”

Maybe fire fighters/paramedics/car geeks can address this better, but why do they have to move the beam off of her?

I believe Steppenwolf calls a hug a “love embrace.”

When Darkseid gets bored, he throws Steppenwolf at the wall to see if he sticks.

The best romantic movie is Natural Born Killers. Only love can kill the demon.

It’s been so long since I read any of them that I’d forgotten any rapes. Curiously, the only thing I remember is that the dwarf’s high Constitution was explained by saying that his muscle mass was so dense that he could not float or swim.

I think I’d be OK with it being portal fantasy if it meets the following conditions:

It was probably me. Since The AV Club and Gizmodo insist on running 75% of the same content and running similar articles multiple times, I lose track of these things.

Judging by his recent appearance in a Super Bowl ad, I assume it’s Mike Myers.

To me, portal fantasy seems like the laziest version of this movie. I guess I’ve seen the ‘80s D&D cartoon, read Narnia and Guardians of the Flame, and seen one of the Jumanji movies, and having players suddenly end up in the fantasy land doesn’t seem all that compelling.
