I hate offset sticks.
I hate offset sticks.
I need to have my D-pad above the joysticks, I use the D-pad exclusively when navigating menus and when playing sidescrollers (big retro fan) and having it way down there doesn’t feel good to me. It’s the only reason I don’t like using my Nintendo Switch Pro controller anymore. I bought an 8BitDo SN30 pro+ controller…
Look it’s clearly a personal preference and in some rare cases people have a bad hand or whatever but pretending symmetry hurts one thumb over the other is a silly argument to make. I have no issues using DualShock 4 or the Xbox controller.. I personally prefer symmetrical thumb sticks myself but it is not a big deal.…
I prefer the PS4 style. Xbox controllers just feel janky.
Nope, nuts to that noise.
It’s all preference. “A doctor made it” isn’t a selling point for anything, and controllers are different than a ball.
Ew no. It was a doctor who originally designed the ps1 and the dual analog design. If you put your hands out in front of you, your thumbs are horizontal, not staggard. Hold a ball and see where your thumbs are.
Super disagree about the touch pad; lots of games made good use out of it. I loved how in Horizon you could set the HUD so that it would only pop up momentarily if you lightly tapped the touch pad, whereas a press would bring up the map. It’s a good feature that still has potential, so I don’t know why they would…
No please no. The symmetrical sticks might be the main reason I chose a PS system to start with. It feels so much more natural
What I like/love:
*The dpad is identical to previous dualshocks, thank christ.
*The PS logo cutout as a button is brilliant
*Dedicated mute button.
*Textured thumbsticks, fucking finally.
What I don’t immediately like:
*The dual lightbars, which we goddamn well better to be able to fully disable.
*The even larger…
So let me get this straight. A show that refuses to die about a nightmare pandemic is killed by a real nightmare pandemic. That’s fly-in-your-Chardonnay ironic.
I love these articles. Know what I’d like to see? One about how families separated by distance in this time of social isolation can get together and play games. My wife, sons, and I are in Toronto, while my daughter and her partner are in Halifax. We Skyped a game of Yahtzee tonight, and it was great fun. We’re…
“Caleb, it turns out, is a construction world”
I don’t even mind hypothetical changes to the source material, but you can’t replace them with such cookie cutter story elements and expect an interesting product.
I almost went and googled the correct spelling, but I’m at work and don’t want to throw up red flags. BUT I SEENT IT
Jurassic Park, the original, is undoutedly science-fiction. Both the film and the book. Especially the book, which has a message about science and technology, and is super preachy about it.
I’m so glad I’m not alone.
“... but that she is not some dike holding back Lena’s villainy.”
How disappointing. This is the sort of quandary that Doctor Who was best at confronting head-on. Better writers would have allowed Jodie Whittaker to give comfort and show compassion, which are two things that the character is known for.
