Brooklyn. The whole NYC area in general has 24 hour gas stations everywhere, and there’s always an attendant on duty. Sometimes you’ll have to wake the attendant up if you’re in New Jersey, where self-service is illegal, if you come in at 2:00-4:00 a.m.

I don’t know about massive. My wife’s friend owns a Chinese buffet off of I-35 in San Marcos, TX. She bought a spot on a mainline sign, and business is good, but they are not lining up outside the door by any means. If you have a business that people know, the signs certainly help. I doubt they drive business. About

I tend to disagree with this. The signs provide a service to the travelling public - lord knows the number of times we have had a “child emergency” while on driving holidays in the USA and have been looking for a clean, dependable stopping point. Also, those business owners are being jammed by all levels of

The prices are set by the states, with input from Interstate Logos. While they are advertising, and do benefit the advertiser greatly, they are considered a service of the state. The ROI is indeed very good, but some advertisers do go out of business--not because of the cost of the signs, but other factors.

I disagree; I view these as a public service, and would prefer they be at something like “cost”, or less. Making them more expensive will also crowd out smaller companies with shallower pockets, widening the gap between multinationals and local businesses - which already struggle to get on these signs, due to the

Absolutely. This was a massive pain in the ass when I lived in New England. You’d take the exit to stop at a Dunkin and it would end up being twenty minutes off the interstate. That shit would make me fucking furious and it happened all the time. New England’s blue sign rules can rot in hell, better to have no signs

How about an Isuzu Impulse? thats what I thought that was a picture of lol

I’ve had the same annoyance, I wish I could have my car in SPORT by default. It even has toggle switch style switches for turning on sport mode, just make it an actual toggle!

I’m with you. Everything in my (boring old) car is a toggle, so I can just leave it wherever the hell I want it.

These shouldn’t be buttons at all.. They should be physical switches that once you put into a position setting, it stays there.

“It’s just a sign of how savage our nation has become.”

I actually disagree with you and think leather is easier to clean than cloth, but to each his/her own.

Now playing

...Oh...Well, the Rust Belt can be a fun place to visit. Even for movie stars:

I ALWAYS choose Crack Pipe when others choose nice price, and I always choose NP when others choose CP, and I never EVER understand why.

This is the true reason BMW drivers do not use turn signals. It slows them down.

That’s actually quite awesome looking—aside from the odd sock wheels I mean. I’d rock that all week and twice on Sunday.

I apoligize.

The DeLorean was “decent” in that it functioned (barely) and was sold. The Elio is for sale and the elios they have around do function well but are barely on the road.
Like I said. time will tell. i would LOVE to get my hands on one of these and drop a sportsbike engine in the back of it where the 3cylender mill sits.

Just use an automatic car wash. Unless you own a car that will dramatically increase in value the slight, slight damage they do will not effect the car in the slightest.

Yeah, I hate it too.
