No one buys a used Diesel Ram. They buy a used Cummins. The Ram is just the package that it comes in.
A sawzall...
He did get involved, at least in this conversation. The point being that money is being collected specifically for the purpose of maintaining roads however those funds are being spent elsewhere. That is a problem.
I thought Obama was supposed to fix all of the infrastructure? He had eight years and yet, here we are. Give the new administration more than 8 months to get the ball rolling lol!
Your amazing wife drives a freaking STICK CAMARO AND A PORSCHE?!
Subaru STI. It doesn’t have smart cruise control of any kind, though I think adaptive cruise with lidar is an option on the 2015+ WRX. I don’t have a lot of experience with cars that do have adaptive cruise, so maybe they all do what you’re describing.
Before reading this article, I considered myself somewhat of a lightweight in the gearhead world. After reading this goop about fuel-injected cats and oil-pumping pistons, I feel like a world class automotive engineer.

First look at the 2019 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4x4
Let natural selection do its job. I wear my belt. My daughter wears hers. All my friends wear belts. It’s a no brainer. I don’t need or want any added complexity or expense added to my car to save the morons who can’t manage a simple thing like buckling their belt. Come on, people.
A far easier approach is to NOT COUNT unbelted fatalities as auto fatalities. Instead create a new “idiot” category for them. Lumping them in with belted occupants unfairly penalizes the auto industry and leads to idiotic things like automatic seat belts.
This. x1000.
Yeah, this is such a niche case, I hope the general public doesn’t start to think that putting their own vehicles in front of out-of-control drivers is a good idea. In all but these most very specific circumstances, that’s going to end badly for both sides, most of the time.
Exactly. I would gladly sacrifice my car for another person; but I’m unsure I would have had the thought to do what this guy did. I’ll need to keep this in the back of my mind…
You mean like every other independent car dealership out there? I feel for him more than one of the large national dealership conglomerates.
Just goes to prove that people are dumb.
