I’ll buy a small truck as long as it gets more than 30 MPG, can tow over 7000 lbs, comes with adaptive cruise/leather/heated cooled seats/ etc. and costs in the 30s.

I laughed about that.

I sometimes feel that exhaust systems on cars are no longer bolt on.

“all you have to do is unbolt the old one, bolt the new one on in 12 pieces, recalibrate the ECU, replace the 02 sensors, add an 02 sensor cat adapter, and ignore the CEL that comes on from the exhaust temp sensor or else put a

Venue? I don’t like.

The New Sonata is pretty darn sharp though.

Can’t win them all!

I’ve had situations when towing where I really needed to move a mirror while driving (ie- 7' wide trailer in 7' wide construction zones)

Most large companies simply have no way to generate real innovation. the way that they get new ideas or new innovations is by buying out and partnering with smaller, entrepreneurial companies.

It sounds crazy, you think “Gosh- a company with that kind of money and power should be able to do anything”

But in practice, it

I had a porsche cayenne.

Automatic windshield wipers.
Upgraded HID headlights.
Automatic heated seats...

and manual headlights.

Man, I drove that thing around with DRLs only WAY too often because I’d always forget since all my other cars have auto headlights.

If I was 100% sure I could fit in it and drive it, I’m 100% sure I would buy it.

unfortunately san fran is WAYYYY too far away to take that risk.

I own several cars. One has a vanity plate- I remember that one. The rest? can’t tell you a single letter or number... haha.

Every time I’ve sold a car with a lien, I get the cash. send it to the bank, wait 15-30 days, then send the title to the buyer. I’ve sold more than 10 cars this way.

Its been similar when I buy, although I tend to buy lien-free cars. I was freaking out when I bought my 330i though because it took more than 45 days to

I know! what was I thinking?

In Ohio you have 45 days to deliver title after you buy a car.

You can get a temp tag that is good for 45 days as well, so you *should* be able to drive the car if you have all the proper paperwork.

Ironically, my wife is actually a competitive race car driver, so its kind of like a drug addict married to another drug addict... yes.

Zero checks and balances. I am acknowledging it is unhealthy and I probably need to course correct.

Mind you I started before having kids and my kids are very young...

I don’t even know any banks that hold on to the titles on site... most store them of site including Bank of America, US Bank, Suntrust Bank.

I’m sure there are places that have the title on site and can release them, so i won’t say that doesn’t exist, but a lot of them cannot do that even from legitimate sellers.

I also

I actually worked three jobs to afford nice cars. The extra jobs literally just pay for the cars.

Historically, it has been worth every penny... but as I age I start questioning spending an extra 40 hours a week away from my family just to enjoy cars. Maybe I’ll settle down a bit at least until the kiddos are out of

1- releasing the lien. In many states its about 45 days before you can get your title, therefore your out of luck enjoying or using your car for a while. You might be able to get temp tags, but then you need to make sure you have a properly written Bill Of Sale, and hope you get your title before the Temp Tags expire.

as a MT cayenne owner, I highly disagree. that Cayenne outperformed sports cars I’ve owned even on curves... and could tow 7500 lbs to boot!

In my state, you don’t get the title for 45 days.

It sucks to buy a car you want, and have to leave it sitting in your parking garage for 45 days until you can register it and drive it... not to mention somw shady people never deliver your title. I’ve seen that happen to people before- since they have 45 days, they can

I just don’t want to wait for 3 weeks to ship from china... not that I am avoiding chinese stuff...

Cyclists aren’t people. They are roaches/mosquitos.

They have all the right to the road though, so its not OK to brake check them, run them off the road, etc.

But they are incredibly annoying and I have every right in the world to hate them and wish they would go away.

There is a happy medium between respecting their

I’ll take a row to myself instead of first class honestly...

Flew from LA to New Zealand on an almost empty flight. Took a row of 5 seats to myself- put down the arm rests and turned it into a bed.
