Until you die.
Motorcycles are the number 1 cause of death and serious injury of my friends. 2 friends dead, 3 friends hospitalized for months.
Motorcycles are fun, but I would never be willing to rely on one for commuting.

Negotiation!!
Used dealers will typically only take like 250 off their best price, but on craigslist I often get thousands off.
I normally target people who are priced a hair too high, then I low-ball them. They say things like “your offer sucks but no one else even gave me an offer so I’ll take it”.
So I get it for like…
“OHV-friendly states like West Virginia let OHVs travel city streets on the Hatfield-McCoy trail system, and Utah recently passed a law saying UTVs were legal on every street except Interstates (I-15 and I-70) or in Salt Lake City. In fact, most states allow counties and towns to set their own standards, and Arizona,…
Slight falacy, but close.
You can’t plate it as a car in the US, but some states/jurisdictions will allow it to be plated as a Street-Legal UTV.... unlike imported cars which can’t be plated in any form.
Its not hard, just doing it 2133400 times a day is annoying as heck.
But then I can’t use cruise control... but I get your point. You hate cruise control, power steering, etc. etc.
OK thanks for sharing.
What the heck is unintentional poisoning, and why is it so high? Is that like drug overdose?
I lived in an area where my highschool friends didn’t get 15k-20k cars, they got new BMWs, Hummers, and one kid even drove a delorean. I pulled together $400 and bought a 280zx... and yes I could see the road between my legs...
I actually plan on buying my daughter.. (or should I say helping HER buy) a jeep wrangler as her first car, either a TJ or a YJ.
However, here’s why:
1. They break down a lot but they are incredibly easy to work on. parts are cheap, and there are how to guides for every single replacement part on there. She’s helped me…
I regularly drive 8-12 hours in a stint.
Radar cruise control is a life-saver.
I drive slower and safer, because without radar cruise, every jerk who goes slower than me causes me stress. I have to brake, get right on their butt until they MOVE OVER.
So I try to coordinate my cruise control with others traveling around…
My emergency brake warning system flashes at me when I do things like:
-Hit a bug
-Have a truck splash me with water
-Drive through cottonwood
-Dirt from a dirt road
-Sometimes randomly
If my car actually braked each one of those times, I GUARANTEE I would have gotten in accidents from people hitting ME, and maybe killed…
I disagree that level 1 is useless. I think Traction Management systems, Brake-lock differentials, active cruise control (or even regular cruise control), AEB, and Blind Spot Monitoring are wonderful technologies that really help people on the road.
Levels 2-3 I agree with.
I love it.
The problem I think is drivers education. We are required by law to “learn” to drive, then we get excited when there’s tech that keeps us from having to drive.
Why don’t we have a “semi-autonomous” and “autonomous” car licensing process similar to motorcycles? An endorsement on the license?
The requirement…
This happens with radar cruise too.
I won’t buy a car without radar cruise now that i have it though... so it would be a deal breaker if a car didn’t have it.
Not sure if its totally kosher on here, but I’ll post the ebay listing up here when I get it posted tonight or tomorrow, and if anyone is interested they can bid away.
I’m selling a motorcycle. Its brand new. (Not a joke). I ruptured my spine and I can’t drive it.
I’ve had it on craigslist for 11 months now. I’ve had 0 people come look at it.
I started at 10% under what I paid. I am now at 75% off what I paid. Its WAY cheaper than used versions of the same bike, and everyone must be…
135k is nothing on these cars...
In fact much less than 115k and your in “not used enough” status and the car will have more problems.
As long as you can afford a 12-15k sports car, I’d say this one is in the cards.
I’d buy this right this minute if it were in Ohio.
Therefore I can’t say CP.
However, because of the price, I venture to guess there’s an issue lurking...
But you never know. After all, I bought a 4 door crew cab 4x4 F150 the other day for $2500. I didn’t really need one, but they sell for like 7 grand. I’ve had it for 6…
I don’t know anyone around here who has more than 2 weeks of Vacation. There’s one company in town I know that offers 3, and its realistic to get 3 or 4 if you’ve been around a long time, but it seems pretty common place.
But hey, it is what it is. I do miss having 3 weeks at my old job, but at least my paycheck shows…
What am I to do with my kids? And I’d have to fly out there..
I mean I did fly to Florida to pick up my Ferrari, but to Cali for a jalop? Not sure thats how I’d like to use my one week of annual vacation.
