I didn’t say “cut all programs”, I said I believe they are “over funded”. big difference. Again I get that there are different theories to solve problems, but I don’t think more funding is the solution to these issues, but rather how we use the funding.

IE- I support helping students, but I don’t support SNAP. I do

My city spends:
28% of its income on Firefighters and Police- I’m OK with that
5% on the judicial system - I’m OK with that
5% on the streets and highways
1% on Parks and Recreation
4.8% on sewage
4.6% on water supply

I don’t have any concerns with those expenses. In fact, I generally am very supportive of local government

I’m not driving a $3300 car across the US... haha

But yes, you could.

But I’m guessing if 3300 is “junk play money”, driving across the country is probably not something you can get away from unless all your income is passive!

eeks. That would stink!

I agree. You can buy this for 3000. Drive it for 2 years. Sell it for 3000.

Wow! Sorry for assuming otherwise... I just assumed, clearly wrongly!

Just looked up “Bay to the Breakers”.

Only reinforced all my californian stereotypes...

brilliant!

Because #Stereotypes. Haha.

Honestly though, I’m not saying there are no trucks, but due to safety and emissions requirements, you rarely get the hacked up custom truck jobs you see all over the mid west and south...

cool though.

Porsche/BMW Owner types:

Owner 1: 2-3 year lease (NEW)
Owner 2: 2-3 year CPO (2-3 year old CPO)
Owner 3: 2 -3 year Reliable used buyer (4-6 year old used)
Owner 4: 3 -8 year enthusiast ( 6-9 year old used)
Possible Owner 4 1/2: 1-6 year young enthusiast (9-12 years old)
Owner 5+: 3 mo - 1 year welfare recipient before repo

So much this.

Its not Hyundai Maintenance money, but its cheaper than LR, MB, BMW by far!

We know we paid a huge premium when we bought our cayenne for the MT... they are so rare, you have to pay to play.

Asking 30, doesn’t mean they won’t take 25... I wouldn’t pay 10k more for the stick but 2-3k? I’d consider it.

Only one of those looks enjoyable ;)

This car really broke the “Weight to performance” connection I had in my head.

If they can make this car handle this well and perform this well as a freaking massive SUV, Engineers can do anything ;) haha.

I had a CTS V-Sport, and this thing drove as well if not better (the transmission is at least geared way way

My wife bought hers because she needed a larger car to haul the kids around, wanted 4x4, and loves manual transmissions. This fit all the bills.

I see a few of them at SCCA and PCA events because they have a massive tow rating of like 7800 lbs (might be 7600?). That means they have no issue hauling race cars and

Its unreal isn’t it? I think it drives better than most “sports sedans”.

Rusty!

My wife needs to meet your wife.

My wife is an SCCA racing jalop who wanted a manual 4x4 sporty sedan / SUV, we ended up with an MT Porsche Cayenne also.

We also think we will keep it forever, because we’ve had it for years and she LOVES it. She’ll take it to car shows sometimes because our show car has only 2

Then you missed out on why its an NP!

I think this could go up in value if you put a “Santa Cruz” label on it and claim its a pre-production enthusiast mockup.

Just saying...

That also speaks to the M&M theory- IE- If they put that kind of consideration and workmanship into the hatch, there’s a good chance the rest of the build matched that level of quality. This was not a redneck-in-the-backyard hatchet job.
