I think it was just a strong swing intake myths. People used to think that rapists were always creepy strangers, so sex ed classes and the like started preaching that most of the time the victim knows the rapist, which is true. Then people ran with that and it swung the other way to “people who are raped are usually

If I recall, the TT is only fast due to launch control:

My mom used to be just like you, and then we bought her an iPhone. Now she watches netflix on it at night, texts(used to say she didn’t know how and made everyone call her), hell she even uses emoji!

moving hot air is definitely better than stagnant hot air... But a space heater actually changes the tempurature of the air.

I had been imaging an office, and 69 I think 69 is a perfectly acceptable temperature, if anything it's on the chilly side.

Fans don't cool air, they just move it. Moving hot air is still hot air...

Or get a space heater... I kept one of those and a jacket, and still appreciated it being cold when I came in on a hot day.

I had a space heater for chilly mornings at mh old office. I don't think they have something similar for personal cooling...

This is a cool idea, but it’ seems extremely commercial and infrastructure driven. Apple is primarily a consumer product/device company. Through the original apple 1, the Macintosh, the iPhone, iPad, and even apple watch, they've always gone after the consumer business. This doesn't seem like the type of thing

Seriously. I didn't think it would be as roomy as an S-class or whatever... But for a $60k+ midsize German sedan, it shouldn't be uncomfortable in the back.

I wasn't planning on buying a CLS to begin with, but I always thought it was an awesome car. Then I sat in the back of one at an auto show l, and just about hit my head on the door frame... I still think it's kind of cool looking, but now I just think it's a kind of useless car.

Prior to that, people had never flown before. Prior to this thing, I literally just flew to Hawaii from the states the other day, in under 6 hours, with oh I don’t know, about 100 other people? With food and drink service, as well as power outlets in every seat....

I wasn't commenting specifically on the Cosby case. I haven't followed it closely enough to have an opinion in it.

I'm not claiming how things are done now are correct. Maybe I'm being pedantic, but I don't think taking an allegation seriously and investigating the matter is the same thing as believing the story. I totally agree though that rape victims are not taken seriously, amd thst is horrible.

I’m not claiming the way we handle rape allegations is okay. I’m saying that in the case of a stolen laptop, you don’t just assume it’s true. You also don’t tell the potential victim it’s their fault, or tell them they actually gave away the laptop, and that it wasn’t stolen.

I completely agree. However the problem isn’t about believing the victims story, it’s that we don’t take it seriously in the case of rape. I completely agree that the way rape cases are handle are deplorable, I just find the wording of “believe their stories when they tell them” problematic.

Uh no offense taken? I never claimed that's how rape cases are handled? Usually they're dismissed and no one bothers to try and find any evidence, or the victim is blamed...

I completely agree with you that the way we treat rape victims is fucked up, I don’t think I ever said anything to suggest otherwise. Just re-read the last sentence in my previous reply. My only point is that we shouldn’t “believe their story WHENEVER they tell it”. We should investigate, and we should take the

Even in the case you report a laptop stolen immediately, they’ll probably check the person for a laptop If they don’t have it, they most likely aren’t getting arrested. Even then you still wouldn’t believe their story whenever they tell it. You would at least check if they have the laptop, there would be some burden

I don’t think we should immediately dismiss rape claims, but I also don’t think we should believe them whenever they tell their story.
