I would say it’s more like blaming some one for taking a job that pays under minimum wage. They chose to do it, and they’re just trying to get by, but they’re also cheapening the field of work and likely displacing some one who could’ve received a more respectable paycheck.
I’m not talking stock vs stock, I’m talking a theoretical $34k+ GT86, with a theoretical 260 hp, which would put it in competition price wise with a 230i. Maybe call it 500lb less weight because they need some weight to get to 260hp. I think it would be more than competitive performance wise with the 230i.
A 235hp diesel sounds pretty interesting... that’s got to be a boatload of torque.
How big is this thing btw? The article mentions 3 serious competitor, but it looks 5 series big? And what about weight?

They sure are bad on fuel, oil, and engines, but I’m not sure who wouldn’t enjoy driving one spiritedly. (Jeremy Clarkson for example said it was the best car he had driven all year in his top gear video).
Don’t everyone forget, he tends to post these nutso tweets whenever there is more meaningful news about stuff that is actually happening (as opposed to insane musings). Don’t get distracted.
Not sure about all the states mentioned here, but WA at least allows you to get a “Enhanced Drivers License”, which functions as a passport card as well as a drivers license. Another good option for people worried about domestic flights.
And the legal fees he will likely have to pay to get them to replace the window....
