What are you describing is projecting headlights... Most factory hid headlights are I. Projector housings, but there also plenty of halogen projectors out there.

Agreed. The mechanism may be more similar to a traditional manual gearbox that a torque converter auto... But you do not manually (I.e. Physically/mechanically, as opposed to electronically) operate the transmission. It is done AUTOMATICALLY by the computer.

In a manual you MANUALLY manipulate the gearbox and clutch through manual(I.e. Physical/mechanical, not electrical) methods.

Successful by what measure? It outsold almost all it’s competitors just on the first day of pre-orders:

At least in Southern California, I saw more CVT “frontrak” A4’s that Quattro

Vantage GT

The brown houndstooth leather/cloth seats were fantastic. I really wish they'd make those an option on everything.

I totally forgot they did a ducktail on the 997. I think it was just on the 50th anniversary?

They brought back the ducktail:

I would love that, with cloth seats(possibly houndstooth like they did on the 50th anniversary), and that sport aero-pack they’re doing on the 991 that has the duck tail.

I’ve got a 2005 RX8 with about 50k miles, I’ve had zero engine troubles.

When I first saw those tail lights I thought “wtf, that looks like something from the 90’s!”After seeing them around a bit though i fell in love with them. It makes the old one looks like something from the 2000’s that was trying way too hard to look cool, while the new one just looks clean and classic.

How about the Audi S4?

Not sure if it’s completely street legal, but I’m going with the Brutus:

I can't speak for the tuptronic in the 996 turbo, but in the 997.1 c2s it's dreadful. Sure it shifts quickly, but there is a good half second of delay from when you push the button and it shifts. Better to just leave it in sport or auto... Although then it leaves the revs in astronomical territory for 20 seconds after

The mustang has usable rear seats. I've sat in a number of different model years, and never been uncomfortable. I tried sitting in the back of a 911 once, extremely uncomfortable.

Warranty and 4 usable seats.

Except... it’s actually fast...

It’s not about the ammount of time, it’s about the ammount of effort. Say your phone is in a bag, or an inside jacket pocket in the rain? Say you’re on the couch and your phone goes off. Say you can’t find your phone, you can page it with your wrist. Say your cooking, and your phone goes off, and your hands are wet.
