Unfortunately the 1M appreciated significantly. At this point you'd be lucky to find one for MSRP. (Which was about $47k). Here's the auto trader listings for all 1 Series M's in the US, the 2 cheapest are 54 and 55.

The worst part is it's not even brushed.... it's just silver paint.

"People don't want louder cars...and frankly the way laws are going you won't be able to have louder cars either soon."

787B would be pretty fun.

" I kind of don't mind it, cars are so quiet now you can't ever hear them."

EVERYONE thinks that and it drives me insane. I currently own a car with HID's and plan to never buy a car with halogens again if i can help it. Properly adjusted projector HID's are incredible and don't blind anyone. Plus like I said, I get blinded by normal every day halogens on raised trucks way more often than bad

Exponentially better visibility. Plus OEM projector HIDs don't shine any bright light above bumper level. I get blinded about 10 times by raised trucks with unadjusted halogen reflectors for every 1 HID. Plus the only times I have been blinded by HIDs have either been non-projectors or shitty aftermarket jobs.

We use both terms highway and freeway on the west coast, and they are not the same thing. A freeway has limited access, i.e. on/off ramps and that's it. Highways can have long stretches of road without interruption however they may also have interactions and unprotected entrances/turns on them, especially if they

*Freeway

San Diego I believe is similar to any other costal cities/counties in CA. The bay Area however is insanely expensive. For example, a 700 sq-ft 1 bedroom in orange county will run 1300-1700+ depending on neighborhood and condition. In SF I think you would be lucky to find a 1 bedroom for under 1800.

Both of them were very light with similar engagement points and the distance for engagement felt similar. Fairly long throws on the lever on both as well. Sorry to say it, but from what I recall they hardly felt different. (Again it was years ago, but that is what I recall).

Man, the Maybach really hasn't aged very well.... two-tone, busy headlights, and terrible grill/emblem just look ridiculous now.

Re: Cygnet. Mad respect for keeping the Scion badge on it.

Have you driven a early Focus hatchback? Especially with a stick?

Like I said, it was quicker, maybe slightly firmer suspension, but it really didn't feel all that different. I had been daily driving a completely bare bones 2003 Focus ZX3 with the "PZEV" 2.3 Duratec engine for about 2-3 years and the GTI felt shockingly similar. The clutch and transmission felt practically

I can't speak for the Mk6/7, but when I test drove a Mk5 I really was unimpressed... Honestly other than feeling a bit quicker and having some turbo noise it felt so much like the Focus ZX3 I was driving at the time. I mean it was a 10-15 minute test drive and I wasn't driving the tires off, but still it didn't feel

Is this why it's called a golf?

Yeah, seriously. I was expecting something more Jaguar E-type or Ferrari 250 style nose....

I love the way the C3 looks, but yeah the engines were pretty pitiful.
