How doe s a GTR get into this shape so fast?!

I love the S2k, but if you're comparing used vs used, the MX-5 is incredibly cheaper. However new miata vs S2k, I'd definitely go S2k.

I think he meant NC miata. As far as I know, of the cars you posted the only one that was for sale the same time was the 3rd gen MR2.

Sure, but as a Jalop you're the exception. Presumably you pay attention to things at all times while you're driving, but these reminder features aren't built for you or I. They're built for all of the terrible people out there, and I would love that their car yell at them every time they don't use their turn signal.

I agree with Stang70Fastback. Just because you don't see anyone, doesn't meant there isn't.

Obviously!

Is that really a thing?! Why would anyone do that?

Because fighter plane!

With understeer you could give it a stab of trail braking and handbrake to get yourself out!

You fall into a ditch with each if you lose control, but I have great news! Modern cars take care of driving errors pretty well.

Clearly it just needs more POWAAAAAAAAA

That makes sense, but I was more so referring to pre-ios6 or mapquest days.

Absolutely! 10 minutes is just wasting your gas and time!

I think google maps is onto me..... because a lot of the time, no matter how much I "allegedly" speed, it was right. (At least on journeys under 2 hours, over that and google didn't stand a chance!)

This is contrary to some one elses comment saying "all modern cars are safe". Actually because of regulations and crash testing more cars are like (or better than) your mazda 3 which likely saved your life.

Even engine braking doesn't matter. It's all about traction, your brakes are strong enough to break wheel traction on a dry road. Not to mention engine braking doesn't give you ABS.

As some one who drives a rotary, letting you car warm up can be very important.

Nope. It was in the most pedestrian settings, they didn't want people wrecking the cars. Just hanging around you could tell a lot of people there weren't exactly jalops. The traction control also seemed to kick in way before loss of traction. It seemed like you could plant it all the way down in a corner, and it would

I mean, I've never tried it, but my car came stock with 225/45/18's. Either way a lot of places do installation/balancing for free if you buy the tire there. Or like 10 bucks a tire, which compared $1000 bucks on a nice set of tires isn't bad.
