Wtf? Doesn't autozone/o'reilly's/pep boys/any other big brand car part shop do those for free?!

Yeah I was going to say... uhhh... no switching tires (on your rims) and balancing the tire, or doing your own alignment are all things you should leave to the people with the big expensive tools with tiny tolerances designed to do that.

Not quite that quick. However plenty of people have clocked them under 5 seconds. That's with 100-200 lbs over the claimed 235i 3200 lbs and 22 less hp.

No no no! The 2-series can't be good! The 135i's are just now depreciating to where I could afford one, and then this? :( Hopefully it's hideous! Or DCT only or something.

At least the i still stands for injected!

The 135i was 3300-3400 lbs with 300hp and many publications recorded it doing 0-60 in under 5 seconds(I think the lowest claimed was 4.6, lots of 4.8-ish). BMW made claims of 5.0-5.3 or so.

I assume he actually has been arrested, however he hasn't been convicted of anything. Plus I'm pretty sure you can still serve with a misdemeanor (which criminal mischief is). However if the riot charge sticks, i can't imagine he wouldn't be let go. I'm no expert though...

Yeah the only time on the street I've found you can really practice heel-toe is like you said braking late for a light. Or late at night when making a right on a green light (assuming no one is around).

I'm out of SoCal as well. I've been up to willow springs international raceway a couple times. They've got 3 different tracks, both times I did it with extremespeed. Did one of those exotic autocross things at the Autoclub speedway once, which my SO bought me as a christmas present.

When I first posted this they had only listed criminal mischief, which is a misdemeanor.

Also as for evidence regarding a 5 liter V8 being a crap generator, here is a 7kw disel generator that is .5 liters:

I pretty much agree with everything here, and stated in your DCT vs MT post. Honestly the real secret with heel toe (not that I'm good at it) is pedal location. Some cars it's awkward and impossible, others it feels fairly natural.

Ahahaha, why can't I recommend this twice!

I got pulled over at night, it was about 50 degree's out..... so AC shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah. That's where my expectations are... >:(

I'd probably rather go with a 6-speed personally, but if I wanted a DCT I'd tack an extra $5k on if it was a very good one.

My mind could be tricking me, however I'm 90% sure that I've seen cops at donut shops and 7/11's with their cars off....

Most toughbooks have claimed battery lives of over 10 hours. (At least the first 5 or so I found on their and some review sites, keep in mind toughbooks are HUGE). Say the battery health is at 30% (my 4 y/o MBP with 420 cycles is @ 84%), and you only get half the claimed life(doubtful when at night the screen

Yeah, I think the Yukon/Yukon XL/Tahoe/Suburban make sense for that reason. It's a proper workhorse that can transport 8 people and all of their luggage in comfort. I come from a family with 4 kids, we own a boat, and go on ski trips every couple years, so of course we have a Yukon XL!
