I'd like to see this with just brands, rather than specific models!

Utah as well. Visited there recently and it seemed like the average car was a impreza.

Even though they probably would have cost $10k-$15k more? (A 135is coupe is ~$44k base, CLA45 is supposed to be about $50k, vs $34 for a golf R).

More bhp/l than any car made ever auto express? REALLY?!

Wikipedia said 50, but who knows. Also who knows how long it'd take to get there.... I hadn't realized it was only 17 bhp at first though to be honest.

Lets see.... just over $40k for a 425i, or an extra $3k and get a 335i..... unless the 4 series is comming standard with extra kit, the choice is clear.

aaand /thread.

Yeah I didn't say anything about ecominded-ness.... for that reason.

Compared with a suburban, the handling was kind of scary around town, and the engine was incredibly anemic. Not to mention visibility was terrible... and this is comparing it to a suburban....

This, plus an anemic engine, plus kinda meh ergonomics, where why i just thought the H3 was crap. Offroad it might do alright.... but it is not a car that inspired any handling confidence.

In terms of SUV's and whatnot... I've driven a Yukon XL, Mercedes ML, and a Toyota RAV 4. Maybe not the best comparison mix.... in it's defense, it also doesn't help the H3 I drove was on knobby tires.....

Most people want something that is cheap to run. They'll happily spend 40 grand on a new car, but are upset if it takes 91. Being good on gas, and the fact they probably don't care that much about cars to shop around and compare.... is why it's so damn popular.

Yeah, also they suck at high speeds. My 400 mile road trip, i tried cruising at about 85 for a good portion.... the engine sounded like it was going to explode and the fuel economy suffered pretty terribly.

That's enough to get it to 50....which in all honesty is more than fast enough during rush hour. :(

I like fancy food and the suburbs.... but I'd rather get a Golf TDI if I want to be thrifty and good for the enviroment etc.

I just fail to understand how such a large car has such small space and bad ergonomics inside. My family has owned a number of suburban and yukon XL's.... significantly quicker, much better feeling handling wise, brakes still felt like mush and the steering wheel felt like a suggestion... but my god are they

Sounds about right. Fucking Arizona.

Of these I've driven an H3 (the I5 one even) and a Prius.

Haha, I hope so. I'm just worried the new boxster/cayman are TOO good looking. I mean, cracked egg headlights and a really dated interior I think is 90% of the reason the 996 is so cheap these days.
